Well considering they started drawing him like him in the comics about 4 years ago, I think that's already happened. Besides, they are basically the same person anyway; drink/drug problems, conflicted and troubled personality yet big heart and genius talent who pulls through in the end...
By the way, HULK SMASH box office records, fuck yeah. Take that Harry Potter. Dark Knight Rises is going to have to work pretty hard to beat that.

No, they all stay in-character. There's a lot of fan-jokes and nerd references, but they all make sense in the world of the film.

Eh, nothing that is too obvious; the character of Agent Coulson has two scenes where he sort of speaks on behave of the fans by saying how cool it is see Captain America on film & how a certain turn of events needed to happen because The Avengers/audience need a reason to fight Loki.
It's all dialogue and interaction based; it's not like he turns to the camera and gives a wink.

Re: The Avengers
Two super funny parts in the movie, both with the hulk
The first one is when the hulk and thor just fuck everything then they are standing side by side and the hulk punches him lol
The second one is when the hulk is in a room alone with loki and loki is like YOU CANT TOUCH ME YOU VILE MONSTER IAM A GOD or something similar then the hulk just starts throwing him around like a rag doll, film was great though

Re: The Avengers
I wish the bad guy actually felt evil and imposing.
Loki was a limp wristed twatosaurus emo faggot cry baby bitch daddy didn't love me enough.
He's supposed to a villain, not the front man for My Chemical Romance.
other than that, it was a good movie. I thought some of the comedic relief was ill-timed as it broke the tension during dramatic moments.
Edit: "Super-heroes? In New York?" - i lol'd.

Re: The Avengers
Thor is stronger than Hulk but has a harder time fighting Loki and those giant flying things with the guys.
Hulk can suddenly control his power at the end for no good reason
Captain America somehow just caught up to IronMan and Thor when they just met Thor
A lot of fucking holes in this movie but overall an entertaining movie.

How is Thor stronger than The Hulk? The Hulk is supposed to be THE super-strong hero.

Agreed on this one. There should've been a moment where we see Bruce Banner mastering his inner turmoil or some shit. Maybe even a montage!

He can't lift thor's hammer for shit. He gets close but Thor just knocks him away. I said this movie has a lot of holes. I was high watching the movie and I had more points but I forgot them why I thought Thor was stronger.

In the movie he doesn't hulk out enough to do it, but he's actually done it before in the comics.

This is the major hole I see. I think I understand what happened, but they really should have elaborated and done a better job.
Stark is constantly telling him to let go and use the Hulk. He doesn't seem afraid of him and thinks that he can master it. He prods him, tries to piss off, etc.
I think the reason why Banner had control at the end and not the first time was that he triggered the episode at will the second time. The first time was just his body's reaction to the explosion and was involuntary.
The Incredible Hulk is supposed to be in line with this movie (Stark is in the end of it), and we see in that movie Banner mastering it. So it's conceivable that he still has control, but doesn't want to use it or act like it's actually there.
So with Tony's persuading, he realizes that maybe he can actually use the power for good and not be ashamed of it. So he triggers it, staying in control, and kicks some ass.
Another piece of evidence for this is the fact that the first time he changes, it's wrenching, halting, and painful. When he's in control, he skips into it almost effortlessly.

The Hulk is definitely stronger than Thor, but no one can lift Mjolnir except for Thor. It has nothing to do with strength.
Thor is definitely comparable with the Hulk. When they're fighting, you see the Hulk try to hammer first him and Thor actually hold his arm up for a bit with just one arm. But overall, the more you beat up the Hulk, the more pissed he gets. And the more pissed he gets, the stronger he gets.
Thor is definitely stronger than Iron Man. He almost crushes his arm pieces when they're fighting. And if Captain America doesn't have his shield, he gets buttfucked by all three of them.

Hulk as always been stronger than Thor and Banner learned to control the Hulk at the end of The Incredible Hulk.

Re: The Avengers
He states before he turns the second time that his secret is "...I'm always angry" as to how he keeps himself in control. And yes, this is still a continuation of the Edward Norton film where he does gain some degree of control over it, but it's not something he willingly wants to jump into, it's still hard to control. I think given the number of bad guys, destruction done to the city already, the chances of Hulk showing up in New York at that time was a calculated risk more for the villains than the heroes or civilians.
Also in terms of strength:
Hulk > Everyone else.

Re: The Avengers
watching this last night. id have been pissed if i went and bought a ticket for it. thank fuck for internet piracy. the final fight was pretty badass, and there were a couple lines i almost chuckled at, but maybe its cause ive never been into the avengers or comics in general but i wasnt impressed.
maybe its just cause i watched a shitty quality version, but what the fuck is with samuel jackson getting shot in the face five minutes in and then standing up as though it never happened? i spent the rest of the movie trying to find some sort of bullet mark on his eye patch not knowing if that things bullet proof or if that dude has any powers at all.

...he got shot in the stomach. Definitely in the stomach. You see him pull the bullet out. Like, literally onscreen.
The pirated version obviously didn't do it justice, or you simply weren't paying attention. It's a big-screen movie. It would not be nearly as fun without that. And if you weren't a comic book fan, none of it would make sense. However, for awesome people, it is pretty much the perfect movie.

that makes sense then. worst part about the quality was the blacks so obviously samuel jacksons guy wearing that pitch dark trenchcoat was usually more of a floating head on a black blob.
and yeah there were people in the audience that were cheering and shit when certain people showed up or said some line that i assumed was some sort of comic reference. that was annoying as fuck.

Ahh yeah, that would actually be rough to figure out then. He is one dark mothafucka (in his words) in the movie. I didn't really notice until you pointed that out.
