Nutmeg has a very interesting and steep dosage curve. Just chew them up and eat them.

- Feels pretty strong. A little bit of euphoria.

It's amazing how much of a difference one nut makes (sorry unitestclees out there) but this felt almost too intense. Music sounded incredibly alive. I've done a lot of drugs and don't have anything to compare nutmeg to, overall. It really doesn't have the same, albeit 'lesser' effects at different doses - like any other drug does.
Interesting thinking patterns and ideas were noticed.

The euphoria is actually rather strong with this one.
It's amazing how comparable it is to an oral weed high at two nutmegs.
Three is an entire different ballgame though. This will really fuck you up hard, make it hard to walk,slurred speech etc.

If you take two or more prepare to be tired the next day. It contains safrole IIRC so that might not be too good for the body. Might be neurotoxic I can only find one study that said it might be. More science to come (maybe...)

-Man I was fucking high when I wrote this.

-Due to being an MAOI, nutmeg has antidepressant effects but without a side effects list the size of an old-school road map. I've used it for about a week, mostly one nutmeg a day and can feel the effects. Works by inhibiting the catalysts for certain neurotransmitters that among others are responsible for the reward center and "fight or flight" - adrenaline release. Meaning you have more "feel good" and less "stress" floating all up in your domepiece.

-Apparently the nutmegs have a slightly varying amount of psychoactive components. Not enough to really make a difference, but still. Also keep in mind their various sizes. I've seen them from the size of a penny to the size of a friggin walnut almost

Almost every grocery store I've been to has whole nutmeg. Here in cali there's also cheap whole nuts in the mexican section.

me either ugh. first time I tried when I was like 16, I just threw a couple in my mouth and started chewing. threw up instantly and probably just smoked a bowl instead. second time I ground them up and mixed them into either chocolate milk or a milkshake or something, got halfway through before I threw up - figured I needed less milkshake. tried again with chocolate milk a few months later and just managed to empty the glass, within 15-20 mins I'm throwing up

This part I don't get. I rinse them and just eat them just like that. Sometimes the taste gets to me a little,not cause it's nasty, it's just really intense. A quick chaser takes care of that. Most times it doesn't bother me at all.

Possibly, although it does have a psychedelic element to it so it really depends how you handle your comedowns. I don't tend to get paranoia or anxiety with nutmeg, but at the higher doses it can get intense if you haven't got a feel for the drug. Odds are though it would probably knock you out and give you vivid dreams.

The powder hasn't had the myristicin removed, it's just generally much less fresh and therefore the psychoactives have degraded more than fresh nuts.

Ehh it's been a while, nothing I could describe in any graphic detail comes to mind. I'm not trying to sound like a hardcore dude or anything... but three nutmegs really isn't huge. I won't deny it could be intense. There is so much variability between input (nutmeg quality), and output (peoples biochemistry). If yer enzyme inhibition/induction, aldehyde (alcohol) transformation and all that is top notch... you could be feeling another mans 40 gram dose at 15 grams.

Anyway, here is a little something I posted ages ago:

About a month or two ago, I tried nutmeg at a ten gram dose. That experience was quite pleasant. So on sunday at approx 4:30 pm I dosed 15 grams of grated nutmeg, fifteen grams being three whole nuts. I was feeling the onset by around 9-10pm, with a distinct euphoric peak. By around 11-12PM, I was quite close to peaking, and did notice a more intense high than last time. The nutmeg was grated about a month ago, into a sealed bag; seemed to maintain it's freshness. Overall, this was a really pleasant experience just like last time. I would compare nutmeg most readily to marijuana or even hash (especially the peak).

I was feeling well stoned from 12-6am, and when I awoke at about 1pm monday I was still feeling an afterglow high most of the day. Had a bucke ontop of my nutmeg afterglow last night, that was pretty decent. The only "negative" parts I can think of were the taste (meh, not so bad) dry mouth, a bit of lethargy and an increased heart rate. I tried 10g and then 15g, because I had heard and read so much *negative* talk about nutmeg. I found that nutmeg gives me creative energy, my mind went into contemplation/theoretics mode when I peaked, like a flood of ideas. I felt very chilled, relaxed and carefree. Limited feelings of stupor, instead feelings of clarity before I went to sleep. Doesn't have that same paranoia that comes with weed, but has the nice stuff like euphoria and "chillness". No visuals. So far, it has been a pleasant surprise... so the next 20g trip should be fun I know some people have done 40-100g doses, I think rhys (chi/whore to a chainsaw) said he has done 40g. This drug is over-demonized and under-rated

As far as the question about LSD-like effects. If yer body unlocks/transforms the elemi in a certain way (most difficult), you will feel the elemi the most. The feeling of elemi has been compared to LSD. What's more probable is you will be feeling mostly myristicin, which is more mescaline like.
