attempted manslaughter is murder you idiot. manslaughter is when you kill without prior intent to do so. like in an accident or thru stupidity and disregard for basic safety.

murder is where you intend to kill the victim, even if the intent was only for a split second before you actually attacked. so if you attempted to kill someone then you had intent to do so.
