Why are sites like Jailbait legal?

I was wondering this the other day and it doesn't make much sense to me. Why are websites, like Jailbait, still online? One could obviously that it is seen as child porn. Hell, I think alot of zoklet/totse members posted shit like this before, so its obvious that its a site popular enough than many people know about it. The fuck?

People tend to forget the actual definition of child porn, it has to include a sexual act or something very explicit.

As a side note, there's tons of porn with people who are likely <18 years old on mainstream tube sites. You just need to know where to look. If you click all the TEEN TEEN TEEN ads there's plenty of child porn in the thumbnails.

The line between legal and illegal isnt as black and white as you make it out to be. Someones interpretation of what is and what isnt porn is going to be different from person to person. Calvin Klein got in trouble with this shit. Of course sexual activities are pornographic, but other things can be interpreted as pornography, like the example you give. While a minor may not be doing anything sexual, if she's showin tits or whatever, how is that NOT cp? I too could care less what a minor does, but thats not what Im getting at.

Well it depends on which jurisdiction's definition we're talking about. You didn't specify one, but in both the US and Canada (and probably other countries), this is not true. If a minor is in an unnatural sexual position or posed lasciviously the picture can legally be considered child porn.

YOUR definition of child porn doesn't matter here. Read a book before you run your mouth.

some dude near me got done for pix on his computer that were just kids modeling swimwear. i think it was something like level 1 images of children or something. so i was wondering wtf then. like when i was a kid my mom used to tell me to pick out swimwear from the catalog and it would all be getting modeled by kids then. so when did that become illegal?

and if that's illegal then a couple of images in this music video definitely must be then:

i mean children being abused is fucking sickening, but where is this gonna end up? any pictures of children in any context being made illegal or what. i remember a case a while ago of some woman who took pix of her toddlers playing in the paddling pool in summer and they were nude. in her own back garden tho. the photoshop grassed her up and they put her on the fucking sex offenders register for fucks sake. i mean law really needs to get a bit of common sense, like fucking quickly.
