There are tuns' of recipes out there. Here are a few easy ways that go along with the taste of tofu I use a lot.

-Saute with thai peanut sauce, a little extra soy sauce, and garlic.

-A simple stir fry with some soy sauce and vegetables.

-When making thai spring roles and put some slices of tofu in there.

-I don't know what to call this, but it's Korean style tofu.

Slice into 1/4" thick slices, marinate in garlic teriyaki sauce, and fry like steak.

Puree in blender with cheese powder to make a thick cheese sauce for like macaroni or add hot salsa to turn into nacho cheese. Or puree it with chocolate suace to make soy pudding.

Cut it into super spall cubes and let it soak in chili bean juice.

I regularly go to a Japanese restaurant that serves agedashi tofu. It's cubed, fried until crisp on the outside, and served in a beastman-strong ginger broth with sliced spring onions.

I don't have a recipe for it, but I'm sure you can find one quite easily.

Cool Re: tofu recipes

Tofu fajitas! I was in a short cooking group a few months back, and we decided to make Mexican. We had rice, beans, guac, salsa, all that jazz. We were going to just do chicken, but one dude was a vegetarian, so I said I'd eat the vegetarian style so that he wouldn't be left out or forced to leave.

Honestly, turned out great. I hate how tofu gets such a bad rep. People look at it when it's uncooked and unseasoned, and think that's all it ever is. You can season it, simmer it with some veggies and sauce. I love how Tofu soaks up all the flavors.

Here's just a random recipe I found on google. I'd give you the one my group had used, but we had it from a book, which obviously we had to give back.

I'm sure that the process of making fajitas is pretty constant, though.

Why would anyone want to eat tofu? I'm sure it tastes awful. I wouldn't know I'm allergic to it.

My girlfriend and I stayed at a vegan bed and breakfast in Portland and the woman who owns the place made us these baked eggs out of tofu that were effing delicious. My girlfriend go the recipe, so I'm just copying and pasting the email below. We made them recently and it's super simple.

Quote:
I'm so glad you liked the eggs, Laura! I simply sliced a block of tofu thin (into 8 pieces) crosswise, and cut circles with a big cookie cutter. Then with a smaller cookie cutter I cut out spaces in the center, and put the doughnut-shaped tofu slices into a "buttered" casserole (I used Earth Balance). I filled the holes with a little pile of Daiya cheddar shreds, sprinkled with salt and pepper and baked at 350 for about 20 minutes. Then I flipped each with a metal spatula (that was a little tricky), put more salt and pepper and a dot or two of margarine on each, and baked for another 15 or 20 minutes. I've done a similar thing in a frying pan, but this was much easier.
We just sliced up the block and put the cheese on top after we flipped it. It doesn't look as cool but whatevs.

Teriyaki tofu. Slice extra firm tofu into slices and marinate in teriyaki sauce. Grill or fry, eat it with rice and veggies.
