ULD Naltrexone + OTC Opioids: BLTC Research Project
Naltrexone is a drug that antagonizes the mu-opioid receptor. It is often used in overdose situations to prevent cardiac arrest\respiratory failure. Naltrexone is prescription only, however, it is not a controlled substance, and can be found cheaply on the internet.
However, for one reason or another, using *extremely* small doses of naltrexone alongside an opioid agonist seems to actually potentiate the opioid.
More information on the topic can be found in this thread.
With that being said, I became extremely interested in the concept of using ULD Naltrexone to propel readily-available-yet-lackluster opioids into the realm of nod.
I have three substances in mind whose opioid activity I intend to augment with ULDN:
Kratom
Loperamide
Methoxetamine
All of the above exhibit some kind of opioid activity, although they do not excel in the area.
I have ordered half a gram of naltrexone. Seeing as the optimal dose for opioid potentiation is only a couple micrograms, I have decided that as long as it's ok with my fellow mods, I will be sending pre-weighed doses of naltrexone to any BLTC'er who asks in the name of science. Just PM me your address, and Paypal me $1 for shipping costs.
Naltrexone dosages this low are literally more benign than your tap water, so there are no health concerns to worry about.
As part of the deal, however, I am going to require anyone who requests a Ultra-Low Dose of Naltrexone to administer it alongside one of the three compounds I had listed above. I will *NOT* be supplying any of those chemicals, just the ULDN.
Then post in this thread and report back:
Quote:
1. Compound: [MXE, Kratom, Loperamide]
2. Dose: __
3. Summary of effects compared against the same substance one week later but without the ULDN
|
I will bump this thread when the Naltrexone comes in, please do not PM me asking for ULDN until it has been delivered to me.
In the meantime, feel free to discuss this idea. Any (LEGAL\OTC) compounds with opioid activity besides the three I listed that you guys think could be interesting? Are there any &Z'ers here with personal ULDN experience?

Great idea!. Will be interesting to see the results.
Doesn't dxm exhibit some opioid activity? Not on the mu receptors, but do you think it could have interesting effects on DXM? I don't know enough about pharmacology to fully understand these reactions..
I could try it with tramadol, it is prescription but not scheduled... don't know how you'd feel about that.

Thanks! Well, DXM is a sigma agonist, and a strong one at that. The sigma receptor was originally categorized as an opioid receptor, although it is no longer considered one. Sigma agonism alone will not produce opioid-like effects.
The racemate, on the other hand...*rubs hands together*
Hey I tell you what! I'd love for you to try it with tramadol! But I also need you to try it with one of the three I listed. Them's the rules, kid.
Seriously though, please by all means experiment combining ULDN with any opioid you feel comfortable with, and please report back! But also make sure to test it out with at least one of the original three as well.
Also, it now looks like I might be able to waive the $1 shipping fee because I'm a sneaky bastard.

Re: ULD Naltrexone + OTC Opioids: BLTC Research Project
Well, I was hoping to play around with some MXE before too long anyways, when I get my next paycheck I'll order a bit. I can also try it with the loperamide assuming it's available at CVS or rite-aid or what have you.
It also just occurred to me I can procure some O-desmethyltramadol as well as the tramadol.
edit: next step: MDAI + MXE + selegiline + ULD naltrexone?

I happen to have a few boxes of lope lying about, might be interested in being a research subject. It'll feel good to finally contribute something to this community that I love so much. My previous experiences with opiates seem to point to a godly natural tolerance, but hopefully dat potentiation will help.

N0 W4RN1NG i just wanted to say I'm glad to see you are still at it.
I was only ever a lurker on &t but that fucking potentiation formula is still tacked to my old PC somewhere... I've got friends that swear by it and have no idea, I guess they reckon it had something to do with the surprising difference that it made. Good times...
Anyways I would gladly test lope out, given the chance.
Anyone remember some article involving Polysorbate 80 and loperamide back in the day? http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/archive/i.../t-347206.html
I've had friends muse about the feasibility of injecting sugar into an artery in order to make lope active... Yikes!

Man, W4RN1NG, I'm tempted, but accepting drugs from people on the internet goes against my principles. No offense...

Polysorbate 80 is a surfactant, not a sugar. It works because it can form micelles, which can encapsulate the loperamide and transport it across the BBB. It has nothing to do with sugar.

Oh no I don't mean injecting PS80, I'm not sure exactly why they believed that...

Although, shit, I am really curious to see how kratom goes with the stuff. Out of curiosity, W4RN1NG, how much did the half-gram cost? After some googling, it seemed like all I could find was really expensive stuff.

Been sitting on some loperamide for a while now and have been researching it casually now and then. This might be my reason to actually try some.

C'mon, guys! What the fuck?
Back in the day, the original BLTC group would do shit like this all the time and post their findings. It was trial and error, self-testing, experimental, and scientific.
You guys are just all stoned on your shitty little jwh compounds, sitting on the couch at home with a bowl of Cheetos next to you, laptop in your lap, like, "Yeah...uhhh...I do have some loperamide and omeprazole...but....that would mean moving....uhhhh....maybe later....I don't feel like it."
Sometimes I wish I wasn't so against getting high anymore so I'd just do the goddamn thing myself.

Re: ULD Naltrexone + OTC Opioids: BLTC Research Project
its sposed to potentiate mu-agonists in those with essentially 'retarded' opioid receptors.
not potentiate opioids all around...
Although most of you would probly have some sort of permanent opioid tolerance so it'll prolly work to an extent.
interestingly you'll develop a tolerance too naltrexone if you use it enough.
full on junkies apparently got upto 1mg (from what was it 1-2mcg?) with repeated dosing.
source for that^ is bluelight somewhere, u can suck my cock cause i'm not finding it on this shitty library comp

Well, I payed $16.80 [before shipping] for 10 x 50mg Naltrexone HCl pills.
@typedthiswithmytits: Hmm! It seems you're right. Naltrexone probably wouldn't have much of an added effect for the opiate naive individual. In this case, I'm going to have to alter the research project to only include those with a noticeable opiate tolerance! =/ I have a huge, [permanent?] opiate tolerance, so I should still see some pretty substantial results.
The naltrexone is coming from India and this site usually takes 2-3 weeks, so we still have a little while before the goods are in.
And panny, I think once the naltrexone comes in and people start posting experiences, more of these guys will jump on the bandwagon. [I hope]

Wouldn't it be awesome if you got reverse opiate withdrawel syndrome after using high doses of naltrexone for an extended period of time. Instead of being sick when you abruptly cease use you would be high for 2 weeks because of excess endogenous opiate production and MU upregulation to combat naltrexone's antagonistic effects. Haha.
Seriously though i think this is a good initiative on no warning's part and i think we should have these community projects more often

I have quantities of MXE so I would try it, although I can't be fucked getting you to send it to Northern Europe, your return to sender idea probably wouldn't fly.
Good luck though, I'll be watching intently for the results, MXE does give some weird opiod-like effects at lower doses, although you don't notice as much on higher ones since you are dissassociated..

I don't really get that much of opioid like effects from MXE it always goes like this for me.
I take a little bump and it sets in, the DARI effects take hold and i'm like "MOAR" and then i get dissociated off my ass. I don't like the effects of dissociatives though

No? How does MXE compare to good quality ketamine?
i've heard it isn't as enjoyable physically and causes compulsive redosing, which is something ive never felt the urge to do with k, but that was from people who really dig dissociatives
i have mixed feelings

K feels like a more cleaner high if you know what i mean. Atleast that's how i remember it. The compulsive redosing is not really that compulsive, however the euphoria produced by MXE surpasses that of ketamine by far IME.
MXE Is like ketamine's retarded brother with down syndrome and ADHD.
But as i said i don't like dissociatives so i may be biased.

I'm definitely interested, and willing to participate, but i should state that i am currently dependent on suboxone, and when i run out i use kratom to manage withdrawals, usually a few milligrams of the suboxone a day..
with that said, would i still be able to participate? i would be able to test the immodium and kratom for sure, and willing to take any suggestions..

I think the trick is you take a shitload of naltrexone, then anesthetize yourself. Then, when you wake up (if you live) you're through WDs.

that would be great, but the medical community still likes the idea of causing you some pain i think

I don't know if he was ever able to send it out. Just after this some shit went down and NW had to leave.
His premise is completely awesome, it's a shame this never came to fruition. I'd take up the project myself but naltrexone is expensive and I have never raked in thousands of dollars a week like NW did at one point.

Re: ULD Naltrexone + OTC Opioids: BLTC Research Project
Is it really expensive? I have an unfilled script for quite a bit. Im not entirely sure if it's too old to get filled though or if i even still have it. Ill check tomorrow.
If I can fill it, id be able to test it with tramadol/lope/and some vicodin
