98.5% of people with gauges are complete wastes of life. Seriously what professional career can you get with giant gross looking holes in your ears? What would possess people to believe that this is a good idea?

Its understandable in places like Africa where its culturally acceptable to do some sort of extreme body modification, but here in America where professionalism and respectability are key components of our culture (at least for those who are shooting to make something of themselves) gauges have no place.

Most people with gauges are teenage kids, or teenagers in their 20's who know they aren't going anywhere or doing anything significant in their lives, so they blindly follow a seemingly rebellious but utterly ridiculous trend just to try to fit in with other nobodies.

Long story short; if you have gauges, enjoy working at McDonald's, O'Reilly Auto Parts, or Big Steve's Car Audio and Body Shop, because you're not going to make it much further.

I have 1/2" stretchers and I have left them out before for a few weeks, they close back up to original size after a while.
