How come I gotta pay into social security
When we all know our generation (y) isnt going to get to retire or have any sort of welfare?

I've asked this question before, and the answer I always get is "So the people who were promised their retirement will get it."
I think that's bullshit, because we shouldn't have any obligation to pay into a broken system that doesn't benefit us what so ever. I'm not sorry that a whole generation of people thought the government was going to be there for them when they got old.

Well, the question has been answered, but I have some ranting to do.
The idea of social security is good, because there are a ton of dumb fucks in this country who blow all of their money on weed and booze. If those people didn't have the government to nanny them, they would be stealing from everyone else anyway. Thus overpopulating prisons and causing our taxes to rise. Either way, we're screwed, there will always be people fucking up the system no matter what is in place.
