Dog food?
I was told by a gay guy, that he eats dog food.
Like the really expensive dog food.
It comes in a can like beef jerkies, is marinated in tasty sounding gravies, and is cooked, not raw.
The ingredients are way more gourmet than the stuff they give humans.
Whole beef.
Anyone done this?
Does it taste good?

You know this stuff is probably not looked over by the FDA/USDA so have fun getting sick/poisoned/other bad things possibly from eating DOG food. Seriously just buy fuckin human meat.
The amount of stupidity on this site makes me so hard sometimes.

Dogs sense of taste and smell are 70 and 210 times more sensitive than us respectively. They can smell drugs when we cant,
So if dog foods are poisonous, its morelikely our beloved furry friend're going to smell it before we do ...
and they dont ... so I say its safe to eat as long as our four-legged friends thinks so.
STOP ABDICATING YOUR BRAINS AND ITS CRITICAL THINKING FACULTIES TO GOVERNMENT AND THEIR AGENCIES AND WHAT THEY PROPAGATE THRU MASS MEDIAS.
STOP. NOW. JUST STOP.

Dog can digest things that humans cant like raw meat, dog food is not something you want to be eating

Re: Dog food?
Dog food in a tin is cooked the same way as "fit for human" tinned food. It all goes into the high temperature steam and gets cooked until basically everything inside the tin is a semi-mush. The idea being is to kill all the bacteria likely to be found inside. Sure that doesn't stop spores, but its generally safe to eat.
But for $3/tin, i'd rather buy a chicken schnitzel and a loaf of bread.

For 3 dollars I will just get some fast food. Sounds a hell of allot better then mechanically separated meat in a can of gravy.

Dogs can be conditioned to eat nothing but plants, such as potatoes .... and so can we condition ourselves to eat nothing but raw meat.
I have, over the past few years ... condition my body to process raw meats, gradually of course. I began to mix my food with minced raw meat, little by little, and now I have reached something like a 60% raw meat to cooked food ratio.
In another words ... if I have say, 200g of rice, I can have it together with as much as 300g of raw minced meat without any ill effects or getting sick. The downside is my sweat, bo and urine stinks really bad after eating raw meat.
So your quite wrong. Humans can slowly be conditioned to accept raw meats. We're afterall ... the Master Species.

But they just dont have picts of cute little dog-dog on them that make you feels cute eating them.
I swear the moment I scooped a spoonful of canned dogg food and put them into my mouth I felt like I've spiritually grown a pair od doggy ears and a tail. I felt warm and furry and cute.
Its a kind of feeling normal, human food can't give you.

I gotta say, after reading that it really seems worth it, the benefits seems to outweigh the cons.

Actually, most human food (not 100% sure about animal food, but I'd imagine it's the same) gets pasteurized when it gets canned. So yeah, it actually does kill the spores. Maybe a few bacterial endospores would survive, but not much.

Re: Dog food?
I remember I bought my dog a package of dog treats. They looked EXACTLY like Oreo cookies. I put them in my pantry and left them. The next day I went to get one for her, only to realize half of the cookies were already eaten. I walked into the next room to see my dad with a glass of milk saying "These cookies taste like shit". I didn't have the heart to tell him.

I do understand that humans can also eat raw meat if they condition themselves to do so but for someone who isn't used to it they may get very sick from eating a small amount of uncooked raw meat especially beef.

When the economies collapse your going to be so very sorry for not having conditioned yourself to eat raw meat.
I've been preparing myself eversince Jimmy started fear mongering about economy collapse. I'll be prepared when it comes.

Re: Dog food?
People eat raw meat all the fucking time. Ever have a rare steak? Sushi? You can eat ANYTHING raw. It might not be the wisest choice if you get your meat from the food bank, but if you get your stuff from a trusted purveyor and you know it has been raised, handled and processed correctly, the chances of you getting sick are very small.
