My ipod touch was stolen from my house. Recently I came up with some info that leads me to think it was an old friend of mine. I'm 90% sure it was him. I have confronted him once, He denied everything, but I know what's up and think he's bullshiting. I could always fight him; and I want to, but I want my shit back or something else in return. If I just scrap him there is almost no chance of getting my ipod back or anything else for that matter. What should I do?

Chances are, the parents may not have noticed a new iPod, or if the kid has a job, they might assume it was gotten that way...

also, to think that they won't lie is a big mistake. Lots of parents lie when they think their kids are being falsely accused or in big trouble (just because they're parents doesn't mean they're mature, honest people). Chances are that they'll also deny everything (even if confronted with some sort of proof), and they'll probably just tell you to go away.

If you confront the parents first, and then kick the kid's ass, then both the kid and the parents will know who did it, instead of just the kid.
