Re: Counterfeiting Money
you can buy foil strips and shit of that nature online, im not sure how you would go about imprinting them with your symbols but im guessing you could make a press of some sort or use a silk screen maybe.

HP printers aren't the greatest. I had a link with a comparison of the newer HP printers, newer Epson printers, and newer Canon printers. HP was the worst, Epson was okay, but Canon was much more crisp. Some of Canons inkjet printers can print 1 pl. My Epson can print 1.5 pl. I believe HP can only produce 2 pl.
Albert Talton used an HP, so with today's printers, a person should get notes that look twice as good.
The security features are a must for any real counterfeiter looking to make profit.

I know its low quality. Shit it works. Nobody sit there and examine a ten. Do it for a couple of weeks till you get the money you need. Like I said fast food places build ur money up to get you a good laser/thermal printer.

Cause the colors are flat. I dont care what DPI you get it still going to look flat, and not produce high quality like you think. They said albert talton use inkjet printer. He really use a combo of inkjet and color laser printers, or just laser printers.

Re: Counterfeiting Money
I've heard of some people mixing there own inks...but I'm sure if that's for printer-printing.
Real US currency has a slight shine to the ink, compared to what a printer produces.

No, u dont mix ur own ink for printers unless you are trying to mimic the ovi ink by puttin metal shaving or glittery pigment in the ink
yep, but only laser/thermal printer can give it that shiny effect. I had bout all the inkjets printer out there hp(deskjet, photomart), canon, brothers, epson... all the currency look bout the same of course some better then others cause of DPI. You can have the exact colors right on the bill, but if a person looking for a fake the ink from all inkjet printers is going to be a dead give away.

Re: Counterfeiting Money
What if a person opened up an inkjet cartridge and mixed in some ink that looked shinny when it dried(like from a craft store)?
Would that likely mess up the printer nozzles?

Re: Counterfeiting Money
mixing ink will clog up your nozzel.
It depends on the laser printer dpi, but they can produce some good looking money. Too good to the point they had to put tracking devices on them.
Thermal printers is best.

I thought those could only print to thermal paper...?
As far as printing on newsprint, would a laser jet printer, print as fine(black lines only) as an inkjet printer?

Yeah I got a laser with barely any ink. When I printed them out they came out fine. It only looked faded because I had very low ink.

Do you guys edit your images in photoshop before print? As they seem to not come out as original when printed without editing

When I print out fine black and white(2 colors) images on my printer, and then later scan them, they need to be touched up(edited) to look like the original when printed.
A black and white scan of a bill would need to be touched up to achieve decent counterfeit bills.

Re: Counterfeiting Money
This is the inside of my USA $100. I dont see the need of watermark ink. I enlarge the watermark so u can see it better.
A real watermark is a faint and very less in details to the actual portrait on the notes, so the best way is to hand sketch it. You cant see it unless you hold it up to the light.

What exactly is screen printing? I've google'd it but I can't find any methods, is it hard to do? Would the watermarks be high quality?

Re: Counterfeiting Money
Hi all,
i have a liquid solution of water and NAOH (NAOH concentration is 10%)
also i have liquid Acetone.
if im gonna wash a 5$:
1-is the NAOH concentration good ? too much or too little? should i add water?
2- i know i just have to put the 5$ in the solution mixed with Acetone and NAOH , but can someone give me exact details? should the solution be 50-50 ? should i heat it ? how many minutes..
thanks for clarification.
I wont do any counterfeit, this is just for information purposes.
thanks
