Shopping in New York

What stores should I go to? I will be in New York for four days. I am pretty into shoe culture but could use a new pair of jeans or something.

Well, a Gap I went to in Manhattan had ridiculously affordable shirts. Like $6 a pop for these real nice v-necks. Try H&M too; I picked up one of my favourite pairs of shoes there for only $13

As a New York resident, I can tell you that 5th Avenue has a large amount of clothes stores. Walk along and you'll find most of the good stores.

And if your budget is really tight there's a salvation army on 3rd avenue

i've heard bergdorf goodman's is pretty good, and saks could be worth a try, all those huge department stores. they seem to have everything you want.
