Re: Ugly Gun Contest
How about the Obrez pistol, not really a pistol in a sense but a hella-damn-ugly mosin chop job. They were used during the Russian Revolution, so the firepower of the mosin would be easily concealed. To bad it's illegal to make one, I'd love to get one of those $100 bitches from the shop and hack it up.

Re: Ugly Gun Contest
God damn, imagine the kick and the muzzle blast from that lil sumbitch?! It's basically just a rifle chamber with a grip. Lol.
And yeah, the Sten and Liberator pistol, made by the Brits and the Yanks respectively, were both supplied to French resistance fighters (hoh-hoh-HOH!) during the war, and both were designed to be simple, cheap to make and also capable of being made clandestinely in workshops not normally tooled up to make firearms, for example repair shops, fixture/lighting factories, etc. The more you know!

Volquartsen V-10X Comp
I like a lot of their .22 stuff (its some of the best on the market), but apparently this pistol was designed by Ray Charles...

I never liked the look of the scar. It has an awful looking side folding stock and it's covered in teeth like some gnarled reptile.

The SCAR is pretty cool, especially the 7.62x51 one. But the folding stock does look a little dumb, is it just me or does it look like robot's foot?

Is that seriously functional? You could build something like that out of sheet metal in your fucking garage.

well back then they had different standards for reliability, safety, and accuracy....so I guess it was functional (to some degree)
Oh yeah, it is something you can make in your garage (minus the barrel)--its all stamped sheet metal, kinda like an ak but much simpler

Yeah man just like an M3 grease gun haha, it looks like a plumber made it. Although I've heard the grease gun could outperform the thompson as far as accuracy goes. I wouldn't know though I don't own either.

QFMFT^ I recall watching a documentary on the gun where the were produced by a former toy manufacture for something like 5-8 pounds at the time. Nothing says "don't invade me" like a country where every one is armed .

Not sure why but I hate that helical magazine, maybe because people seem to think that the mag is a grenade launcher.

Part of me really, really wants to hate this and call it ugly for reasons both practical and aesthetic, but....Somehow, I just can't. I actually think it's awesome, lol, but most seem to find it ugly.

As long as we're posting ugly guns, I vote for any HK with that type of receiver and stock. The UMP looks badass, then they release the MP5 and g3 which are are all lumpy.
