Do you really think you're in a position to call people weak and act condescending when you're completely addicted to one of the lamest, most boring drugs out there and need rehab? I don't. BTW I'm 24 and still think drugs are great, I just use them sparingly.

A old friend of mine told me about one of his friends that came out of one particular facility 'clean as a whistle' after being admitted for a serious meth addiction - He'd been to a few different ones before it obviously with no success.

I was told this story maybe 3 years ago at most - The last week or the week before I saw the guy in question speed walking through town, a few months back I saw him with his old associates - I'm positive he's back to his old ways.

I don't have confidence in these things - Either users want to change their lifestyles or they don't/can't.

I've tried helping different friends of mine get off cigarettes on numerous occasions, I've pretty much given up with that - They just don't want to stop. They say how it costs too much, strains their relationships with people close to them who want them to quit and how they are noticing health impacts but can't (won't) commit themselves to quitting.

I was one of those types that started smoking to prove I could quit and got addicted - After some quit attempts that lasted from a few hours, to days, to months I finally managed it - I don't think it was all that difficult.
