I'm getting surgery soon

That means paid medical leave from work! I'll be making more money while on medical leave than how much I'd make at work.

I have to get my gallbladder taken out, and right now it's causing me severe pain.

So I'm sitting on the toilet with a laptop and a cigarette, trying to poop. It seems like a big poop would help.

So what do you think about that? The morphine will be nice, especially because it's legit and legal and nobody can get mad at me for it

Through insurance and stuff, work benefits. According to all the co-workers I've talked to, they say a medical leave of absence will end up giving you more money than working full time. I have yet to see it in action but I will keep you all posted.

I'm still waiting for a call back from the hospital after this dumb secretary woman speaks with my surgeon, at which point I can schedule surgery and fill in the dates on my leave of absence request form and stop working for a while.

Hmm, there's an idea. Find someone that's receiving morphine and steal their bag.

Not that big a deal, a nurse would probably see it soon enough. If not, their screaming would draw attention pretty quickly.

the gallbladder isn't necessary to live, but it helps. without it, my liver will have to work that much harder.

either my liver or my kidneys.
