That seems like it would be kind of uncomfortable after a while. Cans are by far the best. They get the coke a lot colder and it's just the right amount of coke, those 2 litre bottles go flat before you've even drank half of them unless you have a fuckton of people at a party. And the smaller bottles just suck, you always end up with the dregs in the bottom that are lukewarm and taste like shit.

Is it really colder? I would guess that after a while in the fridge, coke in any container would get to the same temperature.

But yes, it is interesting; I find that coke from glass bottles tastes the best; cans come second, and plastic bottles are the worst. 2 litres especially, as then you get a plastic bottle AND it goes flat and warm etc.

But yes; I wonder what causes the difference in taste. The fact that it gets warmer faster in a plastic bottle, or maybe the plastic gives off some of the taste?

Have you blind-taste tested yourself? Cans are usually plastic lined. Whereas glass is just it's inert self.
