The Female Economy
The female economy is the medium upon which females socialize and express themselves. It is characterized by language, pictures, music, dancing, storytelling and image. These things are female currencies. For most of hominid history, the female economy has never been allowed to flourish. But, for the last 15,000-50,000 years, the female economy has dominated.
Why? I think this is because the differences between males and females have become so difficult to ascertain (over the past 50,000 years or so). By a process of morphological reduction, males have become more like females.
The backbone of the female economy is IMAGE. I am referring to things such as reputation, appearance, one's "title," possessions, etc. So, for example, a merchant in the female economy would be a person who spends time doing bodybuilding exercises or a sport, or a dictator who is concerned about his artificial reputation of "mightiness", or someone who chases money and home ownership. These extremely queer activities did not appear in hominids until very recently.
Other examples of female economization would be protest, dancing, socializing, living in structures, having a residential address, or a birth name. These represent the trend towards the female (group activity, verbalization, colors) and away from the male (silence, invisibility).
How does the female economy exist? It exists simply because there is a support-system that enables it. This started with the advancement of stone tools, later agriculture, then things like literature, television, the internet, etc).
