Many climbers including the one I posted do not do pullups and would struggle to do twenty - it's a myth. Bear in mind this guy pictured has been the numero uno go to guy for advice on rock climbing in movies from Cliffhanger to Mission Impossible. Rock climbing is about muscular efficiency for that sport - not being able to do pullups.

If you've ever done ANY freeclimbing or rock-climbing, you'd know EXACTLY what I'm talking about, unfortunately you don't have a clue and are just guessing at the physical prowess of a given athlete you have no idea about.

My mate ate a diet of:

Tuna wraps, poached chicken wraps, egg white and chicken omlets, protein shakes, avocados, beef jerky, almonds, low fat cottage cheese, salmon, and low GI carbohydrates.

I cheat when I'm cutting weight. I just don't eat one day a week and with my metabolism that means I'll drop fat %.

You're absolutely correct. It does look gross. But until now, I didn't need stronger legs because the rest of my body was twigly. I actually concentrate on two areas at a time. The last 3 months was rear deltoids and traps, purely to prevent future shoulder dislocations and it's worked a wonder. I never used to able to climb negative inclines because my shoulder would pop.

Any way, since my upper body weighs more, I'll now start working legs. Now I'll even out. Like I said, I'm a minimum of 6 months away from where I want to be, more likely estimate would be 12-14 months.

I'm going to Deng Feng in China in a bit to do like 3 months of Kung Fu, they destroy your legs there. 2,000 single leg calf raises, 30 minute deep static squats, etc. Fuck up and get cained. Should do the job.

I discharged like 4 months ago to go travelling. I joined the Australian Army for one thing and one thing only: To go to Afghanistan. All we were offered was East Timor. The dicipline was a joke. You see, ''kung-foo'' .... unlike WWE or MMA is not a show biznezz, and therefor people, the very real people who train for it don't have to look good, as in looking good with bulging muscles like the people you see in WWE, or boxing for that mater.

Kung foo is all about optimal strength, that is to get strong enough to strike your opponents with lightning quick blows and that's that. Not more and not less, and strength does not translate into bulging muscles. In fact, having bulging muscles would impede the movements of a fighter, as having just a few ounce of muscles more would translate into a few pounds of burden under lightning fast movements, due to a thing called inertia,

so if you go kung foooo, you might gain strength, but not necessarily muscle masses. You might have better luck joining british football clubs, and by that I meant soccer clubs, and not british rugby club.

Also from my understanding of how human body works, bulging muscle masses are the results of burst muscle activities, and not strength. Just look at an elephant and a frog. An elephant is strong, no doubt, but it didn't have any visible bulge of muscles, while a frog, while having less strength to weigh ratio than an elephant, have huge bulging muscles on their hind legs.

This is because powerful slow movements require long, slender and fine muscles that have more surface areas to absorb oxygens and food as the heart pumps blood thru them while huge bulging muscles are designed to do burst activities because they need a lot of mass to store food and oxygen and to contain lactic acid buildup before the heart can complete a beat and resupply.

But take these with a huge shard of MSG tho because I have no body building experiences and all my opinions are sole based on watching National Geographic ... and my understanding of how booster rockets work.
