Lorazepam seems to suck

So, the only benzo I've got a repeating script for is lorazepam 1mg. Doesn't seem to do anything for me though... except about 2 hours after I take it, it seems to put me to sleep. Even more so if I've been drinking, and then it also seems to fuck my memory over about as much as alprazolam.

So the only use for lorazepam that I have seems to be as a sleeping pill or a date rape drug.

Anybody else feel like this from it?

when does clonazepam stand in the grand scheme of things? its a benzo im prescribed indefinitely (ujelly) and my dose it going to be increased from 0.5mg within the first month and there are only two other doses (1mg, 2mg [ujelly])

from what I hear though it's supposed to be like alprazolam, but much longer lasting. there's a little chance i might get some next time i visit the psych though when i tell him the lorazepam is doing jack shit other than making me sleep at 2PM

yeah, i cant believe how easy this was to get. im 15 and even have a record for drug abuse but still telling the nig "im having panic attacks" in a shyish voice is setting me up for a road of excellence

lorazepam seems to have vastly differing effects on different individuals, no good for me (4 10mg diazepam daily) but my mate loves them they totally blow him away, just halved my temazepam from 2x20mg each night to 1 still having trouble getting to sleep even with a 45mg mirtrazapine to go with it ? just had to change my doc as old one retired (called him doc yes=never said no !) new one is female and wants to start messing with my scripts straight away ! sure fire way of getting back on the smack

After using for a while possibly building a bit of a tolerance the general consensus (myself and people I talk to) is that alprazolam>clonazepam>lorazepam.

Kpins sort of lose the kick they originally seem to have. And while they last much longer than xanax, xanax maintains that kick long after kpins cease to do shit.

lorazepam is my favorite benzo, it makes me hallucinate and feel euphoria which i dont get from any other benzo

You could possibly be getting more fucked up than you seem to be feeling. I know alot of people can take 4mg's of alprazolam and say they don't feel anything, yet when you look at them their eyelids are all droopy and slurring their speech. This could also be why it impair's your memory, just because you THINK it's not fucking you up enough.

But even if you do think they suck just hold onto them for a rainy day. Never know if you might end up addicted to benzo's. I'm in the beginning stages of benzo addiction and I can definitely tell when I haven't had any. And man when I get that benzo dose in me no matter how small of a dose, it just makes me feel "right".

They could also come in handy one day if you happen to have no liquor or beer on hand and start going into yout "delerium tremens" as you put it. I know alot of the posters said you haven't been drinking enough for long enough, but I truely believe that isn't the only factor when it comes to dt's. As everyone is different.

Yeah it's like when I'm drunk and totally fucked up on xanax, I can't tell I'm fucked and the next morning I can't remember it... I don't know, I'll need to experiment with this one time. I remember the first time I gave 0.5mg xanax to a drunk chick, that was pretty fucking funny, she stalked me then tried to kick the shit out of me, didn't remember a thing the next morning. Talk about no tolerance...

I like lorazepam. It's very mild but it helps me relax and sleep. I recently lost 50 ativans and 3 clonazepams on the bus cause my pocket had a hole in it. Now I can't sleep at all. Sucks. Clonazepam is better than loraz though.
