Sorry, that I paid $150 last June for a secondhand system that can do everything that your modern PC can. No shitty pentium from 2004 can compare to any G5 tower system from Apple from 2004. I'm about to get a 480GB SSD and 4TB HD put in. Plus, it looks fucking sexy and not like a cheap plastic piece of shit like most budget PCs do. You could grate cheese on my rig, bitch.

an 11GB file is a lot easier to play (in terms of processor overhead) than a more-compressed one because you don't need to do much work decompressing it on the fly

I've got one of the old IBM ThinkCenters, if anybody remembers those. Processor is Intel 3gHz with one gig of RAM and 256MB onboard video memory. I'm on it right now and playing Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis for the second time through. It plays flawlessly.

I've got a thinkcentre too, mine is core2duo and a dedicated graphics card, main benefit though is that its nearly silent, one 92mm case fan pulls air in and cools everything inside it.

You need coreplayer, $20. Haven't found a way to crack it or anything so I just decided I'd pay. It's amazing though... a video that VLC will lag with at max CPU power, coreplayer can play smooth at less than 50%. It's insanely well optimised for PPC processors <3
