It seems a little odd, the way they only apply racism to any criticism of black people (not asians or whites), the way they give black people all sorts of advantages over other races, and the way they always cover up all the awful and despicable things black people do. Its like the situation of closet cases being the most anti-gay of all people, they just try too damn hard.

Decades ago, I decided that blacks should be judged on their individual merits, just as everyone else should be, without regard to race, creed, color, or national origin. For this I was called a liberal and sometimes a commy.*

I think it comes from this need to feel better than someone else. Anyone with full use of their 5 senses can see blacks are a horrible race and terribly inferior. They want to feel better than you though. It gives them this sort of "I am more intelligent and socially evolved than you" because I look past race.

There was nothing racist about the article he posted, most successful blacks feel the same way about AA, tired of the raised eyebrows when they know they earned their positions. Issue himself may be racist, I don't recall, but if so, so what? His article was not racist at all.

Making generalized statements about any group is never justified, and almost always bigoted.

That said, I do find it mildly annoying when over the hill comics like Jay Leno make a big deal about being all buddy-buddy with black folks, yet routinely make bigoted statements about women, or poor whites.
