With respect Lava, I think the danger comes with where one draws the line on killing, weighted against the other persons right to live. If someone slanders or steals from you do you have the right to shoot? At what point does that offense constitute being enough to fire upon them, is a drunken argument sufficient slander or swiping a box of 9mm ammo enough of a theft?

And even if someone commits an offense, there is a difference between someone who is committing an act out of necessity vs someone who is just a punk that does it because they are looking for the easy way through everything.

Everyone has an inherent right to live that should be respected, a simple "you don't kill me I won't kill you" social contract if you will. That is until they void the contract in witch case it's probability justified.

Not arguing that sometimes the killen needs to happen just that there's no real joy in taking life. (not that that was your implication)

TLDR: People who benefit from white privilege and are unaware of it are in no position to analyze/critique incidents of racist violence and say they aren't racially motivated, because they wind up looking like idiots to people that know and live with it.

As someone who is of mixed blood and gets mistaken for being Mexican all the time (got into a fight once because of it, had slurs thrown at me and gotten sidewards glances, the whole bit) I don't really think that I come from a background of "white privilege". But really who gives a fuck that's life people are ignorant, big fucking deal.


I get that racism is an easy place to go "Ohhh look at the nigger who ate that other niggers face on bath salts lolz", "haha spic held up asian at minuet mart and got shot", "lol new immigration law is gona get them spics in New Mexico"; everyone stands up and says look at this "racism its fucking terrible!".

But by focusing on what the color of the persons skin was, we fail to address the real issue that lead to the crime, lack of education, drug awareness, Immigration reform, the need for accessible and fair lines of credit. That's how we as a human fucking race are going to move forward not bemoaning how if someone commits a crime against a different race its racist.

I'm not denying that racism exist and it always will but people have been racist for all of history but we've all gotten by in the end by enacting social policy that benefit everyone not just a minority.

Crimes aren't committed in a vacuum. Nobody's blaming "the white man", but "the white man's" prejudices and a society based on white supremacy are responsible for things like this occurring.
