I'm going to start a league on Yahoo fantasy sports. I figure everyone probably has a Yahoo account before a NFL.com or E!SPN account. Leagues can be open in 3 days so PM me your email addresses if you want to play. I've never Commished a league before so I'll probably be posting here asking questions and shit while setting it up. Thread is for suggestions/trade requests/wagering on games/whatever.

Want to get at least 10 people but the more the better.

It's up to you. Some people like earlier drafts, as it does leave a bit more up to chance (injuries, holdouts, etc.). Others wait until right before or even during pre-season, so they know who's slated to start, break-out, slump, etc.

I remember the league I was in last year, the commissioner drafted Peyton Manning with the first pick, he gets hurt for the year, and then the commissioner started taking other teams good players and such.

I think we should move the draft to early/mid August...that way there is enough time to trade before the season starts; but at the same time, the rosters are pretty much set so we can all have a good draft (ie Saints receivers are useless w/o Brees).

I'm actually ok with an early pre-season draft...August is enough time to figure out rosters and make trades.

If anyone is interested in playing in money leagues, I play in a few leagues that need more teams (usually winner take all w/ $30-100 buy-in, all via PP)

I agree with that...

0-99 yards = 5 points
100-200 yards = 2 points
450-499 yards = (-5)
500+ yards = (-8)

I'm not too picky on the rules, but I'm not super crazy about have IDP (1 or 2 is fine though). I'm not going to complain either way though
