Re: 2012-2013 NFL Season
Steelers [edit] might [edit] win. Big Ben with an actual O Line(please dont get injured) in front of him like he had in 05 and 08 makes their chances good. Mike Wallace is still holding out I believe but dude will stay he seems like a cool guy and not a money grabber. Downtown Antonio Brown and Emmanuel still around too they will be better than last year and they were great.
And of course their D will always be respectable. not as great as the past what with Troy getting old and Gay leaving along with Farrior and Smith retiring...i'm sure they have some decent reserves to step in. Hopefully they can get some takeaways this year
Also, looking for 8 more players to fill the fantasy league. Go to http://zoklet.league.fantasy.nfl.com/
and the password is "dabears" no quote

Re: 2012-2013 NFL Season
I'm actually looking forward to watching Scam Newton play, he quietly broke like every rookie record there ever was last year. Fucking tebow overshadowed him.

Brandon Weeden is going to even further shatter them.

Its not really that hard to stand out on the Browns....
The two biggest stories of this NFL season will be Peyton Manning on the Donkeys and Tebow vs Sanchez (after Sanchez shits the bed)
EDIT: I am a life long Broncos fan....Elway4Life

The bears should be good if forte resigns and god forbid one chicago sports team has their star player(s) stay healthy during any championship run.

The Seahawks need to get past the 49ers...
My top 5 teams for each conference are (in no particular order):
AFC
Patriots
Steelers
Texans
Broncos
Ravens
NFC
49ers
Packers
Eagles
Saints
Giants

Re: 2012-2013 NFL Season
My boy Gronk is now the highest paid TE of all time. Since he has destroyed every TE record, this makes sense. All reports are that NE is meshing well. We have a better chance than most at going to the dance again.
EDIT: Roasted, you might say that that list is in no particular order, but we both know the patriots under Bill B are the best football team of all time.

I had Gronkowski on my fantasy team last year. The best part was, I didnt draft him until like the 4th or 5th round. Drew Brees and Gronkowski were my two best fantasy players last season...

alot of teams should learn from this. Gronk and Hernandez are what, 2 of the 3 targets Brady typically throws to? If more teams started focusing on TE's it'd change the game

But I will admit it I live in NC and I am also looking forward to seeing Cam Newton play this year. With him missing all of training camp his rookie year and coming out and fucking up the Packers defense on opening day and being in the top 5 passing most of the season with only 1 main receiver, I think say's alot.
Maybe i'm just biased but he seems kind of humble and classy to me compared to most "african americans ". I just hope we have some good coaching. I mean our offense was pretty beast last year compared to the year before and if we had a dominant defense we would have made the playoff's for sure.

Re: 2012-2013 NFL Season
Patriots, barring injuries, gotta be the favorite outta the AFC. Best quarterback and coach in the league, and this is a quarterback and coach league. Toss in Gronk, Welker, BRANDON LLOYD and a (hopefully) improved defense (I thought they had a terrific first round in the draft) and the Pats really should be able to get back to the SB.
Let's see if the Broncos and Manning really do put it together. I think they will, unless he's actually still too injured or becomes re-injured.
Ravens are definitely up there, if they had a quarterback other than Flacco I'd be more worried
We'll see about Pittsburgh and Big Ben. Wouldn't be surprised if they have another very good season.
I'd imagine GB, NY, SF are the favorites in the NFC. Go 49ers.

Of course Clay is obviously just kidding. Only shitty players are ever traded in the same division (Donovan McNabb)

He was actually abbreviating the lesser known acronym "Rest in Piss". He was telling Tony Romo to Rest in Piss in peace.

Re: 2012-2013 NFL Season
I NEED FOOSBALL TALK!
Who's watching Hard Knocks? I think the LOLphins were a lame choice. Just going to be all about Reggie Bust, and now Chad Ocho Cinco failing, dropping passes, and taking away reps from more deserved receivers. Even though they have Tannehill, they'll probably not even focus on a rookie and his progression. One legitimate interview and episode with him, and then probably just clips of him getting sacked and tossing INTs.
We'll see...
