It's only a felony if you commit a felony while impersonating a peace officer (3rd degree) or facilitate the commission of a felony to occur (4th degree)
Otherwise it's a 4th degree misdemeanor for just impersonating, unless you arrest or detain someone in which case it's a 1st degree misdemeanor.

But not before I take out my Hoppe's No. 9 and insert my cleaning rod deep into your barrel; thrusting in and out to thoroughly remove any residue adhering to its inner surface and finishing by spraying my lubricating oil in your slide rail grooves and on the junction of your trigger bar and connector.
