Default Anybody heard of "The flavor Bible"?

My buddy had this book. If you're into cooking I strongly suggest you check it out. It's not written as a book you read cover-to-cover, but more of a reference. You look in the book for an ingredient, and it gives you other ingredients that go with it. "Flavor Affinities" It's really just for flavor Profiling. I'm going to pick up a copy. You should do the same.

Here's a quick description and what the cover looks like

It's a great little source of inspiration if you've got a bit of this and that around the house, but no idea what you want to prepare.

It's a definite buy for anyone who's interested in cooking.

In other news: I got an ancient copy of Larousse Gastronomique at a car boot sale for £1 - another book that you should try to find.

Yes, to quote the philistine of of whom I bought it; 'It's all disgusting old-fashioned rubbish, I'd rather have a fackin' curry mate!'

Yeah REAL Lucky. I have many great books - well, had, my children color in everything and just found scissors and glue.
