unknown dead dopers--RIP
For one, there is Nancy Hickey. I reckon few have heard of her. A neighbor some fifty years ago, she ODd on Christmas Eve, went into a coma, died New Years.
Then there is John Kindervater. An amazingly gifted writer and artist in high school, he drank himself to death. He used to be thin and dapper, got an case of beer bloat. He was my best friend in high school.
Finally, the Riddler--Dave Riddle, that is. He lived with his parents in his same room all his life, died at the age of thirty-something when he fell under a freight train when he was fucked up on reds and booze. Amazingly, he did this twice--first time, he just lost a few fingers--second time, he got pretty thoroughly dismembered.
Don't ask me what the point of this thread is, just got to thinking about them.

Re: unknown dead dopers--RIP
I was throwing a party and a friend of mine asked if he could bring a guy named Wrobel. I thought he meant this really cool pothead I knew in middle school, but it was just some kidiot with the same name. He got ridiculously crunk, and kept asking me if I had any "hard drugs" with barely an inch from my face.
Later he passed out cold on my lawn chair. He pissed himself all over. He was literally soaked from head to toe with urine somehow. The cushion was soaked too and we had to burn it. But at least he provided us a whole night of entertainment in the form of ridicule and facial vandalism.
That morning when it was time for everyone to leave, my friend had to drive him back. He forced him to wear a garbage back so he wouldn't get his car seats wet too.
This was 3 years ago.
Just recently I heard that kidiot died of drug overdose, and not a single fuck was given that day.

Re: unknown dead dopers--RIP
The man who taught me how to hustle told me one thing, "Just so you know what you're getting yourself into, kid. Every person I started this back with fifteen years ago is dead, in prison, or afraid to call me because they are being sought after."
Within two years of telling me this, he was found in Milwaukee shot to death with his car stripped. Those two sentences always stuck with me and bother me to this day, mostly because he was like an older brother to me and my survival has for so long built upon what he taught me to do.
I think about him a few times a week. His name was Bradley as well.

Re: unknown dead dopers--RIP
The guy I bought weed from for many years was a drunk--died of cirrhosis of the liver.
You always had to meet him early in the evening, since he was usually drunk out of his mind by 8 pm every nite. As I recall, his bev was Almaden Mountain white wine.

Re: unknown dead dopers--RIP
lets see god theres too many....
jesse. driving drunk fucked up lighting a cigarette drove through a stop sign and off an embankment. wasn't found for 7 hours. barely alive. his family pulled the plug....
randy was a super model somehow, just had his big break. OD'd off heroin at a party. the girl who sold him the dope weeks afterwards bragged her shit was so good it killed him.....
josh just got back from a tour in iraq, pressured into joining the service to beat his drug addiction and do something with his life. gets back, rents a hotel, dies later that night. the EMT was a fellow who we both knew and took a picture, sending it to a group of close friends saying this is why you don't do drugs. his parents sued, and now my state has "josh's law"
megan did some weird RC combination and hasn't walked sense. she's still in a coma....
keila is in a coma as well, also a vegtable. she tried to kill herself with t3's, suboxone, and valium.
mark [the 5 year old son of a drug addicted couple] was shot because his parents owed their dealer 3 grand....
i gotta stop, this is fucking depressing...

I think that attitude is appropriate, since death is, after all, an illusion.
We are all immortal, eternal, invulnerable--we are not our bodies.
Our bodies are conveniences, learning devices, which we set aside when they no longer serve our soul's agenda.
Somehow, however, I suspect that this would not be terribly helpful to a grieving sibling or parent.

Intranasal BA ~ %50 so 20mg dilaudid, a six pack, actually pretty normal you didn't OD, unless you weigh under 100lbs or something.
This would get someone like me,without a tolerance, decently buzzed, but more of a retarded
drunk-high than anything else, at least with that combo.
I usually never mixed opiates and alcohol, because it felt like a complete waste of a high, booze just fucks the glow all up with alcohol's sloppiness and stupidity. I'd much prefer benzos as a complimentary substance.
Anyways dead dopers , yeah. It's a part of the game/lifestyle , why keep a personal obituary list. People die, drugs or no.
I'm sure *almost* everyone that has done hard drugs at least somewhat regularly has had someone close die from drug use, while either under the influence or through overdose.

Um yeah, why should you?
Does that mean you have sympathy for people that die because of non-drug related circumstances?
If so, then that would be kind of weird.
If anything I'd have sympathy for the friends/ family members, but the people themselves don't really have much to worry about anymore.

Re: unknown dead dopers--RIP
Tyler, i told him shooting suboxone is not a good idea if u shoot heroin and ritalin. Shot a bag of dope, then shot 8mg of suboxone.... I was away at rehab, wasnt there to call him a dumbass. Kid died after his body went into shock and stopped the heart from beating.
Nobody remembers the kid because he was kinda awkward but its still sad.
but to that kid that went to my old high school that ODed on 40mg of intranasal opana, you're an idiot.

17 years old, friend was at a kick back where everyone was drinking, played with his friend's gun, thought it was unloaded, aimed it to the roof of his mouth and pulled the trigger... died in the hospital 2 days later.

17 years old, a friend ended up with mental problems after he was shot in the neck by a stray bullet during a gang confrontation but he was just a by-passer... it ruined his entire career of playing college football the following year, forcing him to abandon that goal and it flipped his personality upside down, he ended up smoking weed and drinking 24/7 along with taking anti-depressants and about 4 months later he was drunk driving with his suv hot-boxed, got the lights flipped on him and was too paranoid to pull over so it ended up in a high-speed chase and a few minutes later he made a turn at an intersection at 80+ mph, flipped his suv several times and then unfortunately nailed a stop-light pole... he died instantly.
r.i.p. fui
24, friend hung himself in prison serving a 7 year sentence (already having served 4) for accidentally killing his girlfriend helping her slam heroin... his grandparents died (they're the ones who raised him because his father died when he was young and his mother completely abandoned him as a sibling) while in prison and couldn't attend the funeral... i imagined that completely killed him inside and couldn't take it anymore.

Re: unknown dead dopers--RIP
A very good friend of mine recently died from a heroin/xanax overdose. Well he didn't really overdose, he was born with a heart defect and I guess the combination was too much for him. I didn't know he was shooting, in fact a few months earlier I'd actually chased some with him once just to try it, though I didn't really get much from it. I told him he was playing with fire, but he said he had it under control and was in no way shape or form addicted.
He was the nicest, happiest person I've ever fucking met. Hooked me up with a good job, introduced me to my now best friend, was always there to have real talk when it was warranted. We could leave behind all the bullshit group drama and just talk about life and the universe for hours on end.
RIP Kent, wish I knew you were shooting so I coulda bitchslapped that needle out of your arm and handed you a 40 and a blunt instead. I miss you buddy

Do you have sympathy for people that die because of sporting accidents? Work related accidents? AIDS? What about people that die due to complications from drugs prescribed to them by doctors? I can understand not being sympathetic to people like STD, but someone who uses a drug that turns out to be contaminated with some nasty shit or of extreme purity, that's kinda lame.

I was obviously referring solely to recreational drug use.
But there is simply no way you could have inferred that by context!
