I do apologise for the wait, guys. Went through some shit at the start of the year that fucked me up a bit, then I was put on antidepressants that really demotivated me entirely and made me worse off (but did wonders for my anxiety disorder). Currently I'm just waiting for at least 2 more cover art submissions so we can put it to vote and get this thing together.
But I'm looking forward to putting another volume out though!

Ok, sorry again guys but there are gonna be more setbacks on my end. Been having some internet problems and I've been getting a shitload of job interviews and had to travel a lot lately so I'm not having too much free time. I will still get this all going together though.

Sorry again guys, last few weeks have been pretty hectic with a change in internet provider, work schedule and not many chances to get onto the computer. I will do my best to try and organise all this shit tomorrow to get a sampler at least uploaded somewhere until I've got the whole thing worked out.

The only mastering and mixing I've done is on my own song when I recorded it, I put the songs on the way I receive them. Hopefully I'll find the time to get a sampler done in the next couple days, since (unless things change last minute) I've got the time for it. Tomorrow I'm going to put up the album art voting thread and we'll give it one week after that to upload it.

Mixing is the order of songs on the album.

Audacity is free and it does a great job. It has at least a hundred effects and mixing presets.

Hopefully we can actually get this one out before the next one. No offense EssJay, but it seems like you've got too much on your plate to handle it. It's been almost 6 months and a few shitty album covers (one by me) have been submitted and nothing else's been said.

So the way I see it, you can finish what you've got and release it for people to hear, you can hand it over to Arley or someone similarly interested (of course with evidence of their ability) and they can finish it off and release it before starting a new one, or you can sit on the songs you've got and a new one will just start with someone else putting it together.

I'd like to hear the songs, so I'd prefer the first two options, but it's up to you man. The pros of having someone like Arley (or even a small group) doing it is that it will probably get a lot more attention and involvement, and if there's a group in charge the whole project won't get shelved while personal life intrudes, one person can just leave and come back when they've got the time.

What do you guys think?

Honestly I think the best route would be to go ahead and make steps on starting a new one. While everyone is making their songs for the new one, Arley or whoever can finish this one and by the time they finish we can start putting together and wrapping up the new one.

i just recently got it to utilize better effects and multi-tracking. its awesome and easy as shit to use. great program for cutting up a 4 hour recording into individual songs [and clean her up a bit too]
