Not many people know this, but you don't have to go back into the store after LP arrests you. You're allowed by law to stand outside with the LP until the cops arrive and take over. If you struggle in any way shape or form, THEN he can drag you in by the hair if required, but if you do not resist the arrest you do not have to go inside. Simply state, "I would rather stand here outside until police arrive" and LP must comply or the entire case will be thrown out later as an illegal arrest.

Any LP, no matter where they are working, is going to be using the "force-for-force" method. That means if you try and run, he can try and stop you. If you grab him then he can grab you. If you take a swing, he can take a swing at you. An LP can never legally offer more force than what has been offered by the perpetrator.
