Touché.
But seriously, is it better after a good long aging? I would think the fresher it is the better.
Edit: and for the record, it was only a three-quarters troll. I love the shit outta some good steak, but eating it for every meal is serious over consumption in my opinion.

Indeed, I only realised he was trolling after mine and mateys response.
Can never tell if a troll or a genuine hippy loving faggot.

Dry aged is infinitely better than fresh.

Re: 100 Day Dry Aged Steak
I do like me some steak though, quick sear on all sides then into the oven for 5-10 mins depending on thickness etc. Maybe serve with some roast potatos, mushroom and onion gravy, etc.

Re: 100 Day Dry Aged Steak
You can get filet and ribeye for free if you stuff it down your crotch area. Otherwise, you are paying standard prices for this..... cheap sirloin is not a good cut.

Re: 100 Day Dry Aged Steak
When I saw six bucks I almost freaked until I saw it was sirloin. 100 day dry aged does sound interedting though, I'd like to try that. Where do you get yours?

Re: 100 Day Dry Aged Steak
One of my clients is a steakhouse. It's all 100 day dry aged. 6 bucks is not standard price for dry aged steak. It's usually 10-11.

Re: 100 Day Dry Aged Steak
I can get some pretty decent Porterhouse for about $9-10/kg. You can buy a whole, unmolestered side of it for cheap and they will cut it as thick as you want.

Re: 100 Day Dry Aged Steak
Not really a big fan of steak. I could eat redfish on the half shell every day for dinner though.
