I agree with you for the most part. I think methadone is fucking useless and worse than any possible short acting drug of choice, but Suboxone isn't the same. A lot of other people feel the same too. I've seen plenty of reports from people saying it has an almost anti-depressant quality to it. Obviously an everyday addict doesn't give a shit about that, but for some people that could have much further reaching implications than just opiate replacement therapy.

Which is basically what I'm doing. I'm not using it to get off heroin, although that happens to be a nice "side-effect" and being on heroin is required to get onto suboxone anyways, I'm using it for all of the other opportunities it is providing me.
