Who do you THINK will win in November?
Keep in mind, I'm not asking who you WANT to win, but who you realistically think will win.

Re: Who do you THINK will win in November?
About a month ago I would have said Romney, but the Obama campaign has stepped up its game and has been on a pretty successful offense, even if the Romney campaign has been slightly ahead in fundraising. Granted this shit is all more theatrical than WWE, but Romney is being backed into a corner and making himself out to look like an ass in the public eye.

Re: Who do you THINK will win in November?
Obama. Nobody likes Romney, he's ruined his image and now people think putting him in the White House would be tantamount to putting Ivan Boesky or Gordon Gekko in the White House.

Obama, no doubt about it. However the elites could go for the upset and force a Romney victory just for the good ole shock and awe.

Re: Who do you THINK will win in November?
I think Obama will win this time. Remember that the last three times an incumbent lost re-election was in 1992, 1980, and 1976. Those were elections where a weak incumbent was dealing with a bad economy and going up against a powerful opponent. Obama is a good campaigner and Romney is no Clinton/Reagan/Carter(76'). So I would say Obama is re-elected with a map something like this (red for Democrat, blue for republicans):

read something about many of the banks donating like 5x as much to Romney instead of Obama, i mean at the end of the day he's definitely easier to manipulate
which i suppose is some sort of accomplishment, what with running against Obama and all...

Yeah, it's one of the reasons why I'm still optimistic. Obama is the Peoples Champ compared to Romney in about every poll still and even with all the negativity he's racked up. But this time around Romney is the front man for the elites and bankers.
It really is a win-win for them and a lose-lose for us which is the real sad thing of it all that hardly anyone who's going to vote even knows or understands.

Re: Who do you THINK will win in November?
Obama has a 55% chance to Romney's 45%.
I also think that's roughly how the votes will fall in November. Perhaps it'll be a little closer.
Not that it matters. Republicans will maintain the House and continue filibustering the Senate. Obama will be a lame duck President for four years emocrats have shit candidates in '16 and Republicans will win the White House with the likes of Rubio or Jindal or someone similar.

Young, popular "rising star" type of the Republican party? The guys that everyone begged to run this time but they all declined?

Re: Who do you THINK will win in November?
Who do you think the electoral vote will go to?
Sure, Romney has this whole "pissed off right-wing" vote behind him, but like Cory said, incumbents usually win, and if they think they won't, then they don't bother running.
The electoral vote won't want to tell the folks back home they didn't vote for the incumbent. Doesn't matter how awful everyone does (or doesn't) think of Obama.

Obama will clean up the electoral vote, I think. He'll take North Carolina and Florida, thus ensuring his win.

I'd like to think so, but many electors want anyone but Obama. If voter suppression doesn't turn blue states red, and the electors vote with the people, then Obama is a sure thing.
I think he'll pull some more radical moves during his second term, which I am excited to see.

I agree, except that I'm not sure anything he'll try in his second term will be effective. Congress will be too much of a hindrance.
Cap and trade would be pretty ballin' though.

Re: Who do you THINK will win in November?
Also I forgot to mention that in the past three times an incumbent lost they were also dealing with a primary challenge from their base. Think Reagan in 76', Kennedy in 80', and Buchanan in 92'. Obama has not faced any serious opposition from his base.
