Found a Meteroite

A few years ago a meteorite crashed into my friends yard. He was wondering what the value of it is. I took 2 pictures of it so you can take a look at it. You can't really see it in the picture but it has crystals of some kind on it.

It looks like it's hematite, it's mostly iron. Rub it on something to make sure; it should stain red.

I doubt that the object pictured is a meteorite. Aside from the obvious, it looks like a real low-grade quartz crystal from Pecos County , Texas.
