Capitalism vs socialism free discussion
Basically capitalism allows the elite to own the money and build corporations to enslave the majority of the citizens and make them brainless sheep.
Socialism is the oppposite, all the corporations are state owned, this way there are only low and middle private companies that are fairly distributed.
Both systems are dangerous in case they are ruled by a group of organised conspiracy members willing to hold the ruling power over the country.
Personally I think that socialism is way less dangerous, because the ruling power is being hold only by political forces, not by the elite of the rich.
But the best way to create a normal society fit for humans is to merge capitalism with socialism, which means allowing private companies and free market, and in the same time making all huge corporatiions to become state owned, this way stopping the elite to rule the whole country trough lobbies and gaining the 90% of the whole money reserve.
Discuss...

Re: Capitalism vs socialism free discussion
Is your question which is better to live under/with?
Are you talking in terms of resource allocation and society's structuring?
How could you have citizens, outer party members, and inner party members without some kind of special treatment for the inner party members that would elevate them/display their more prominent position in the State?
To have a free discussion you need to have some kind of basis, in terms of leadership, the rich will always be at least in some means divided in how they wish to rule, this tends to stifle extremist polarizing group thinking. If you have a socialist state, however, you now have members of the population who are collectively being drawn to extreme socialism/communism rather than a small oligarchy of business owners striving to get richer but still stifle discontentment among the peseantry. I think the latter is the stronger because it, coupled with human wants and instinctual drives, is productive and moves forward rather than equality and stagnation where the brightest isn't rewarded, the slowest is pushed along at the expensive of those superior (which affects society as a whole in terms of higher education, affluency, literacy, "hard work" attitudes and basically a total deterioration of anyone giving a shit).

This was not in OP. And Bulk Hulk, we already have merged capitalism and socialism, it's called First World Countries. Welfare states, social security, free education, universal healthcare, food stamps, government created jobs (that do not make a profit themselves) are all socialist aspects that are not natural to laissez faire capitalism.
Oh and I have a prolbem with your logic of our problems being solved by the state absorbing all huge corporations, the greatest issue is the simple fact that bigger government is not a better government and our government can barely balance a budget much less run hundreds of billion dollar corporations. Have you considered how many corporations are owend by international entities? Somehow I can't imagine Toshiba or Sony bothering to continue operating on American markets when you seize all of their property.

Your problem is that you are thinking about only one country.
The question is about a universal socialist society.
USA is the last of developed countries in social matters.
There are still homeless people starving and dying on the streets.
And this is because of lack of understanding how a real socialist country is.
This shit doesn't happen in Europe, where socialism was endorsed way before.

I was thinking about primarily, United States, yes. How can I understand real socialism? Every truly socialist country collapses within itself because of problems related to human instinct and society's structuring falling apart.
Quite confused, what state are you thinking of a shining example of socialist logic's implementation?

I think that this has been established for pretty much anything you have more than one of. Moderation is key.

Obviously I was talking about countries where they managed to create real socialism.
These countries are all situated in Northern Europe block.
