Benefits
What are some types of public benefits available to the average person?
How easy is it to get Welfare, food stamps and other benefits? What are the best and easiest to get?
Im 21 soon so I know I can get FAFSA because ill be a independent. I also heard I can go into food stamp building and get $300 on the spot by saying Im indigent.
Can you get anything alongside unemployment or a job?
Throw some ideas my way at the least. Thanks

Re: Benefits
Not really easy at all, to get welfare you have to be disabled or have children. But Food Stamps are somewhat easier to get.

Re: Benefits
Anything is good though. Free money is the best kind. Apparently there is a lot of it out there, thousands and thousands.
Free money from the Gov with under the table money would be nice, really nice since I have almost no bills.
From free housing to free cellphone service and so on. Just read a article other day were some sandnigger stole $800, 000 over five year span in benefits, he played all the angles though. Even didnt pay his gas bill so he could tap into some kind of welfare emergency money.

TANF (welfare) is for people with kids. SSI can take forever to get on, but is worth it. "Food stamps" are still fairly easy to get. FAFSA is a godsend too, my friend who is registered at a community college gets roughly $1,700 back every semester, books leave him around $1,200.

Re: Benefits
I always wonder if those infomercials have some truth in them. Apparently they claim the government has grants that they dont want you to know about, I dunno, it is something worth checking into.

Re: Benefits

Re: Benefits
Foods were easy for me to get.
I looked it up online and found a website where I entered my income and housing expenses, and it gave me an estimate of what I would receive. Then I went in to talk to a social worker that called and verified my UI and rent, and then gave me a card(swipe card....hmmm...) and let me know how much I'll get and when I'll get it.

Re: Benefits
I wonder how hard it would be to use a card reader writer and try to set a food stamp card to use other folks food stamps. Like altering the data a little and then writting to a blank card.

How long is a semester? Isn't he still left with debt from schooling?

Roughly 6 months. You don't repay Pell Grants.

Re: Benefits
Food stamps are easy to get if you're dirt poor in America. A starving nation is an angry rioting nation yanno?
State funded welfare is much harder to get than food stamps, but if you can prove to the case manager that you can't work, you might be able to get it.
SSI, what I'm on, is apparently impossible to get unless you truly are disabled. I was lucky enough to get on the good side of a district court judge who told the feds that I'm fucked in the head and really can't work.
if you make any sort of felonies they pull your funding so I'm doing the best I can to follow the law to a T

Re: Benefits
I've been working for a couple months now. I am currently working 40+ hours a week at $15+/hourly.
I'm still receiving foods stamps.
