Starts off kind of like a drama, then after about a minute and a half you suddenly start seeing a ton of sci-fi stuff. Given the all star cast, spirituality of reincarnation and general idea of karma, on top of the futuristic sci-fi stuff, I'd say this will likely be largely talked about soon. Though I'm not that interested in it myself. Don't ask me why, but it didn't really do anything for me. Maybe it was how it started out, with all the overtones of drama seeping through that first minute, but I wasn't suade when it shifted tone. It was impressive, but still not enough to make me want to go out to see it when it hits theaters.

I think it would be funny if this turned out to be a totally cheesy, horrible movie.
I mean it looks like an epic to end all epics... but sometimes when moviemakers try to make an epic, it turns out to be an epic fail.
Guess we gotta wait and see.

Will have to reserve judgement, watched the trailer the other day and didn't have a clue what to think really... Hopefully it doesn't end up like one of them movies that tries to hard.

That still didn't make you wanna see it in theatres? Just don't pay and walk in. I think it looks interesting enough, also want to read the book first.
