Default Will this old psu work on all these new parts?

old psu: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817101513

New Rig:
Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131767
GFX Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130625
RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231460
CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819106009

Trying to cut cost by using old psu but not sure if its safe to use on all this new gen equipment.

Also does this all look gravy for compatibility? Any suggestions or recommended changes? Is windows 7 better to have to run quadcore/games better or can i stick with xp? thanks

Can't get any of those links to work but just make sure the wattage is high enough and if it isn't a no name brand it should be fine. Made the mistake of using a cheap power supply for a while a couple of months ago and it blew and took a £200 mobo with it. Not worth the risk.

And Windows 7 is better than XP in every way. Just torrent it if you don't want to give bill gates more money. Torrented every windows version since ME and never had a single problem.

The PSU link still seems to be dead. Do you have a model name and number?

Something you need to check besides just the wattage on the plate: Older ATX PSUs push about equal wattage down the different voltage rails (+3.3, +5, +12, -5) .
Newer ATX power supplies (ATX 2.0) emphasize the 12v rail, sometimes having 2 to 3 independent 12v rails to push more watts at 12v. They don't even provide a -5v rail anymore.
Newer sets of components draw much more 12v than the older ATX PSUs can supply so even if they still plug in, it might cook off under heavy load (or right when you fire it up).

tl;dl
Check your 12v power at least. Ideally; don't put a Fermi on a crappy old PSU.
