Because you touch yourself at night.

The earth rotates. Night time is the period of darkness when an area of the earth is therefore facing away from the sun, and sunlight cannot directly reach it.
You know this.

If space is a vacuum, how does the sun keep burning? Checkmate, atheists.

Who told you space is a vacuum? And the sun isn't burning like a fire on earth burns. There is no oxygen out there to support combustion. What you are observing is nuclear fusion reactions.

Re: If the sun is a star, why is it never out at night?
Because it's up someone [insert name here] ass.
But in reality it's due to the supernatural powers of the Sun. It has the ability to cloak itself from humans. Scientists have no clue how it does it, the books tell us the Earth rotates but it's just a lie. The truth is, during night the Sun casts an illusion which makes us all beleive it isn't there. Try closing your eyes and letting someone punch you, you will see an intense light in your eyes before going blind. That alone proves it.

Re: If the sun is a star, why is it never out at night?
Because if it came out at night then there wouldn't be any night it'd just be day and everything would be fucked and confusing.

No scientist says space is a vacuum, unless you're reading pre-20th century science books.

Why does a blacklight make stuff glow white?

What do the virtual particles' respective fields propagate through? The standard manifold explanation of spacetime requires it to be a vacuum - a vacuum with shape, but still a vacuum. Any matter, real or virtual, is considered separate to it.
Unless you take a geometrodynamic or LQG approach. Or any of the myriad other current theories. QFT as it currently stands, post 20th century, still requires an underlying vacuum.

Think again homo, the sun doesn't burn. It glows with energy in the form of radiation and heat.

It's sunny for months at a time in some parts of Alaska so you don't even have to move to a different planet.

This 100000%.
Hydrogen fusion requires no oxygen. And to the OP, space has no night or day, so if stars only come out at night how can any of them be stars when there is no night or day?

Speculation. No probes so far has been sent to the the sun to collect samples from its surface so we dont know that for sure.
