I think I got most of the good ones pretty much on lock. Might have to dig through my "watch again" list though to find some of the ones it wouldn't show me (when you watch Netflix on Ps3, only shows u like 75 movies per category).

Anyway- good thread. I should actually organize them n styart my own thread, cuz I spend so much fucking time on Netflix, and its really hard to dig through their database. You kinda just have to get lucky.

I just watched "The Winning Season", with Sam Rockwell. Kinduva Bad News Bears type story but he's coaching a girls basketball team pretty funny and I also cried at the end.

30 rock and parks and rec are good shows you should check out.

the movie 'Tucker and Dale Vs Evil' is clever and really good.

Sliders, X-Files, and The Office are always go-to favorites. Also, Netflix's exclusive series Lilyhammer is pretty entertaining. It's a dark comedy with Steven Van Zandt from The Sopranos as an ex-mafia guy in hiding in Norway. It's kind of high-art serious-minded comedy, if that makes sense. It takes itself seriously, but it's funny because the characters and situations are usually over-the-top. It's got potential to become more of a drama though, depending on where they steer the ship in Season 2.

Although not on Netflix, I'd recommend you check out Rifftrax and Cinematic Titanic if you haven't already. It's the same group of guys, Mike and Joel respectively, only they riff on recent releases.

Dude...joe rogan is actually an incredibly intelligent and perceptive person. I never realized until I started watching his interviews and stand up comedy. Hes not a bill hicks, but hes one of the smarter comedians that ive seen.

He was just "some douche" to me back in his Fear Factor days, but I have a lot of respect for him after listening to his podcast.

Back to the DMT documentary: It sucked. But not because of Rogan - Rogan just read off of some cue cards. He probably only had about 2 minutes total in the entire thing. It sucked because it was just a bunch of stoners talking about visuals they got on DMT. No scientific insights, no paranormal stories...just stoners talking about that one time they got high.

Actually watching Chicago code right now... Theyve got 13 episode on here. Theyre obviously going for a "The Wire" vibe. Its obviously nowhere near as good (def in my top 3 shows EVER), but its pretty damn good in its own right. If youre looking for a cop flick, check it out.
