What is the best route to take with stolen info?
So my friend is writing a book about a kid who had an older lady who he doesnt know super well leave a purse in his presence for a few hours on accident and he copied a bunch of info.
he is also a bit scared of anything being traced back to him (like really scared) but at the same time he wants to run some kind of scam and get some money out of this situation (he and I are both broke as hell).
What could we do with this info safely? What would be the safest, prob just selling the info to someone... but who? We would love some help and ideas as to what we could do.
Here is the info he has
Name/Address/DOB
SSN
DL#
Debit Card #/CCV/Expiration
Maiden Name (he says the character in the book might know the pin too but doesnt have the actual card, and we cant afford a carding machine or whatever its called).
I know im new here but dont be too harsh! =]

Re: What is the best route to take with stolen info?
We had the idea of buying bitcoins somehow, or just ordering some things on SR, but not sure exactly if that can be done with the info we have, i would imagine once it is in bitcoins its clean right?
also thinking about ordering some phones from amazon, taking the sim cards out and selling them CL or whatever, having them sent to a foreclosed home near us somewhere.

Hey mud farmer, you sound like a piece of shit. Who steals from an old lady besides Tacho?
I hope you get caught and get repeatedly raped in prison. Do you realize that most old people live on fixed incomes and cant afford to get scammed by their fuck-up grandson?
I strongly suggest you rethink this. Or just kill yourself. Either one; I'd prefer you kill yourself immediately, but whatever

Re: What is the best route to take with stolen info?
well to answer your question, a lot of people on this forum would steal some ladys shit... I didnt think this was the place for ethics/morals.
yeah yeah im new, and expected hollow comments like this.
you make a lot of assumptions about this lady, she isnt on a fixed income, she is a middle aged bitch who is a lying drug addict.
Thanks for the help though.

Roasted, your a fucking idiot. Anyways ice I am writing a book with a similar character situation. I thought maybe taking out a few credit cards online from local wifi at a drophouse address then using then at stores at least an hour away to purchase electronics and such. Not sure the risk honestly with never using his own internet, computer or anything and a random house but it's a half assed plan. Funny

Re: What is the best route to take with stolen info?
how risky would it be to just send money from "her" on westernunion.com for pickup? I would guess rather risky, and doesnt western union need a phone call to verify too..

You're a messed up human being if you do this. Have a fake ID, send Western Union to the name on the fake, wear a hat, stuff like that, and go to a place without cameras to pick it up

Re: What is the best route to take with stolen info?
why would that make my friend a messed up human being? have you seen some of the shit on this forum?
I think WU requires a phone call when sending money, can anyone verify this?

Re: What is the best route to take with stolen info?
Western Union does not require any kind of phone call but depending on your location and how much you attempt to send they will have heavy precautions like wanting your ssn, employer info and will actually inspect your id. Also they will always have cctv because WU requires it.

well it would be sent online with WU.com, and picked up with a fake id i would assume. I think they might call for sending money from the website.

Re: What is the best route to take with stolen info?
OP...prepaid smart phone from Radio Shack = $100. That can be used to order a prepaid debit card(mailed to a drop). Once the card is activated, the Internet on the phone can be used(with the card) to set up accounts(Amazon Seller, EBay Seller, PayPal, Square, Intuit, and so on).
Everything from there should be easy.

Thanks again.

Because you've admitted to stealing from old women during your 'Boiler Room' scam days...
Also, you mudfarmers are retards. 1 in 10 of you might actually contribute to this site, so dont preach to me about ethics. You are a dime-a-dozen. No real worth. I (among a handful of other posters) actually bring a few braincells to your retarded ideas. Read the Sticky RascalKing posted a few days ago. You might learn something about BI.

what my friend did when he got an id mailed to his house was:
1. get a ssn by applying for a new card
2. get a bank acct
3. apply for a cc through that bank
4. cash advance the shit from the cc
5. take out a student loan and cash it out
6.????
7.profit!

Bro, go fuck yourself.
Read this, you might learn something. I'm a smart contributor to BI, so I'm familiar with the whole "leave your morals at the door". I'm not preaching to anyone, but there are lines that nobody should cross. Even the most despicable, vile scum on this site has limits as to what is right and wrong (but apparently this doesnt apply to mudfarmers and peasants).

There's a lot of good ideas in this forum that can help you out if you need to make some money in a pinch, but before trying them, you should analyze the ramifications of getting caught doing them.
5.) Finally, if you're going to engage in activities that are discussed in this forum, please, for goodness sake, have some common decency. Nobody owes you anything, you are the one stealing or conning them, don't be angry when things don't go your way. Don't steal from working people or the poor as individuals, these are your allies and come from the same shitty position that you come from, and are just trying to make a living. They've got kids, they've got rent, they've got bills, they've got to buy gas. Sure, their cash might buy you some weed or put you in some new kicks, but to them that was groceries, their kid's Christmas/Hanukkah gifts, or their bus pass money gone to shit along with their job, since because of you they can't get to work. If you're going to hustle, hit corporations and the wealthy, they are the ones fucking you over, and they're the ones that can afford it. Average people work hard for what little they have, and they'll fight for it. Don't rip off your family, they are the ones you can fall back on when you have nothing left, believe me, your folks aren't a bridge you want to burn. Don't mess with kids, don't mess with the elderly. An individual who pulls an elderly man from his car and stomped him to death in front of his 6 year old grandson has no sympathy nowhere. Not from the general public, not from the police, not from a judge, not from corrections officers, and not from prison inmates.
I hope this helps some of you guys before you make moves, and gave you something to think about. I've been TheRascalKing, formerly Tachosomoza. Thanks.

You are not better because I know you are an alt of NTP. Users that make alts are bitch-made.
FYI-I know who you are and I have contacted several mods about your obvious alt. I hope you get banned
PS- For everyone else reading this thread, look at who gave "dizzle" his thanks....9 of 11 come from NTP. Coincidence? I think not....obvious alt is obvious

The best way to use this would be to go to a peer to peer lending site and apply for a loan.

Re: What is the best route to take with stolen info?
Really a craigslist ad to sell it? that seems pretty brazen.
Roasted - you are a dumb fucking nigger man, this isnt some 90 year old grandmother like you keep saying, why am I even repeating myself. Its a fucking junkie mid 40s lying cheating bitch who has stolen from multiple people I know with zero remorse.
Vector - a peer to peer lending site? do you have an example? Where would the money be sent to for the loan, and who would give out a loan to some random on the internet?
I guess the hardest part of an ebay/paypal scam deal would be cashing out. Im assuming my friend would just open a bank account in her name before doing all of this, and just cash it out to that?
whoever mentioned the prepaid card being used at an ATM. When you say SSN/DOB, you mean to buy a prepaid visa gift card online with the debit card info he has, and then when it comes (in the mail i assume? i wouldnt want to send it to any house associated with me or him, so send it to a foreclosed house and watch and wait for the mail to come?) to just take it to an ATM and withdrawl? we arent even positive oh the amount thats in this checking account.
thanks everyone for all the replies, sorry i wasnt around today to be more on top of the convo.

Re: What is the best route to take with stolen info?
Lets keep this a BI thread to help others instead of flaming each other. I would say the paypal/ebay idea is out of the question because paypal will fuck you over and probably freeze your account. I think the best idea is the green dot card or whatever and then just cash out at a atm. Since they are re-loadable, test it out with a semi small amount and then wipe it out and throw it away. The dark web could also be another option since you can buy some pretty weird shit with bit coins or just cash the bit coins out for real money. You can even sell the info on the dark web to the right people. I would be careful tho since the dark web is full of scam artists, child pedos, and insane people. This is all hypothetical of course.

These cards are "signed up for" and they are free. It's a bank account with a routing number. Money is loaded onto them via GreenDot MoneyPak.
A drop would be needed.
