what mouse should I buy to replace it? Deathadder or G500?

I've been using the Deathadder for about 6 years now. Only had to replace it once, and that was 100% my fault. Great mouse.

The DeathAdder is the best mouse when it comes to comfort and size, but their buttons tend to wear out really fast. They all seem to get the "double click" issue after a while, which is annoying as fuck.

LEDs totally make you better at games.
The G400 has a better sensor than the 500.

I'm buying it for competitive TF2, so it's gotta be a pretty twitchy and precise FPS mouse that doesn't make my pinky drag on my pad if possible (but pinky drag is okay). I kinda prefer clawing the mouse rather than palming it, too. Do you use a Deathadder at the moment? Is it good for clawing or not? Any extra buttons?

It's all about the sensors man, fuck the mouse name.
The G400 was originally shipped with the Avago 3080E sensor but any G400 mouse with a PID above LZ133333 has the Avago 3095 sensor in it, you can tell because the ones with the better sensors will have a sticker like this.

The G500 has an Avago ADNS-S9500 in it which has positive acceleration that isn't removable.
All the Deathadders use Avago ADNS-S366 which has mouse prediction problems and jittering issues.
I really want to just build my own mouse, so many shitty ones out today. The sensors are pretty cheap to.

Hmm, so I guess buying another G400 might be in order. I can't afford to jitter when going scoot.

I also agree with this statement. I loved my G5 and feel like the G500 is an improved and supercharged G5, and the G5 is almost exactly like the G400.
