When you give all of the money to the wealthy, have a society where "corporations are people, my friend", and there are no limitations on how you spend your money, then you have a system where politicians are bought and paid for who return the favors they owe. Cronyism isn't neoliberalism; it's a consequence of it. Own up to the consequences and support them even (Romney does, clearly), or admit that we need a better option.
