Inglourious Basterds(trailer)

I'm sure most of you have heard of Inglourious Basterds, Quentin Tarantino's new film, well I finally got around to see the trailer last night. Now I psyched for this movie, at first when I just read the plot, I was thinking....blah blah another WWII movie, though I was hoping that Tarantino would produce something good. Looks like he has.

I hope it isn't excessively violent, but given that Eli Roth is in the trailer swinging a bat at someone's head...I shouldn't get my hopes up. It's not the violence itself that bothers me, I just would rather have the focus be on plot, characters, and dialogue than on trying to gross out the audience.

Well given the subject matter, it should be a bloody film but I don't think the plot will be lacking. I'm sure it will be non-linear and engaging, and I have no doubt that the dialogue will be well written. I'm not sure about the characters though. Most Tarantino movies have interesting character development on all sides (bad guys, good guys, unimportant characters), whereas this one looks like it focuses on just that one band of soldiers.

How about a movie of conquistadors killing Indians? Oh yeah that's racist because unlike Japanese (Kill Bill) "Native Americans" are underachievers and White conquistadors built more on this continent in a few days than the Indian did in thousands and they are thus untouchable by the Jew hollywood industry and faggots like Tarantino. That scene where the Wallace got freed by Bruce Willis was one of the most anti-racist scenes on Earth. The white man is a prison rapist who tries to conquer the black man but gets freed by the white criminal (symbolic anti-racist) and left to be tortured by black criminals. It's an action movie man...not a political movement...
