Where to buy an alcohol breat tester that police use?

Is it available to the general public or do you need special permission to purchase it? I think it would be handy to be able to drink and stay legal, or to try and defeat the device with mouth hax.

I'd reckon they're not that accurate though but it might still be handy.

They sell them at CVS stores and such. They are like $50 a piece. Totally worthless. I stole the one we had when I worked there and took it to a party, you can only use it once every 20 minutes and the 20 minutes before you use it you can't eat drink or smoke.

I had a retail Alcohawk breathalyzer from Walgreens. It sucked. It was decently accurate, but it took a while to start up and had to be calibrated about twice a year.

I've got a nice breathalyzer made by Intoximeters (Alco-Sensor FST) right now.
