You know those tmobile to go 20-50 dollar cell phones? If I buy one of those can I put a sim card in it and use it for a regular tmobile account? I'm sick of buying these dumb "smart" phones and spending hundreds of dollars on inferior made-in-china crap that doesn't even last a year and a half. I don't even use all the features. Lesson learned.

Yes, as long as it has a SIM card. If you talk to tmobile about it, you might even be able to get them to wave the activation fee.

You shouldn't have to pay an activation fee if you're switching SIM cards.

You may need to unlock the phone though; many phones are locked down to their own carriers.
