Frown What would be the best adhesive to reattach a turn signal to a plastic fairing?

For as long as I can remember I have had my left turn signal duct taped onto my fairing, which works perfectly fine, but it is a bit ugly. I was wondering what would be the proper adhesive to reattach it? I believe the turn signal is also made out of a type of plastic. Also, I would want to do this in the least-damaging way (lol), so I'm not too sure about super glue.

Hmm, and why is it taped on there? If the mounts are broken, just buy a new lens and install it.

Let me specify... I have a shitty korean bike that I bought used. I checked the other turn signal and it does not come off, so I'm pretty sure it is glued on there somehow. I wonder how they expect me to change the bulbs if I had to...

I'm not a fan of using glue for the reasons you mentioned...once it's on there, getting it off without damaging the bike is going to be a bitch if the glue's worth a damn. Depending what plastics the bits are made of, solvent cement would be a good choice though. The joint is as strong as the plastic...if it works properly.

Fancy taking some photos of it? There might be another way to do it without glue.

Yeah I'm trying to do this as non-destructively as possible so any suggestions are golden. I may just end up using yellow tape instead of duct tape to make it look a bit better, LOL.

Thanks!

BTW: Ended up using masking tape which makes it look ALRIGHT, but I'd much rather have some kind of adhesive/ingenious strategy where it looks good as new!
