Default Dry/Dead skin on my face

Does anybody else get this? I don't know what to do about it. My face itches a lot (worse if I go a day without shaving) but I can look in the mirror and see dead skin on my face, and if I rub it it falls off like dandruff. I scrub my face with a warm rag, and it's back in a couple hours After I shaved yesterday I rubbed some coconut oil into my face since I think it's good for skin and it felt good for a little while then it started itching even worse it seems like. I try not to scratch. I'm also trying not to use shaving cream when I shave.

I think it's worse in the winter because because the cold drying my skin out, plus it's cold and rainy and I dont feel like going outside and getting as much sun. Plus the yard I'm living in doesn't get a lot of sun anyway so even on warm days I'm outside a lot I dont get it.

exfoliate errday or two, moisturise as often as you can with natural things (avoid products with alcohol, etc. as they'll just make things worse), and I'd avoid using any cleaning products on my face aswell. I don't know any other solutions really, I've had shitty, dry, rashy skin all my life. What I have noticed though, as with pretty much any other external ailment, the source can often be attributed to internal problems. I know my skin dries right the fuck out when I smoke alot, and extremely so when I drink. Do a bit of research on nutrition for your skin and what to avoid.

That's a typical symptom of candida albicans overgrowth.
If so, then it's an internal problem and all the products in the world rubbed on your face aren't going to solve it.

Do this test: For a few days (weekend) eat a shitload of garlic and don't eat any sugar, carbohydrates or milk products. Also I suggest vitamin D, if you have any. If your skin gets better, then I'm probably right. You should also eat alkaline foods BTW, google to know what they are.

You could also just go the doctor and ask him to test you for candida overgrowth. Most doctors can't tell you have it based on the symptoms, but they should still know how to test for it.

Candida is some fucked up stuff BTW. It's hard to get rid off and if left untreated, will seriously fuck you up.

Plenty of people have it, but few know they have it. It has a lot of different symptoms and can spread to different places through the bloodstream.
Some have skin problems, some have brain fog, some have toenail fungus, some have joint problems, some have bad breath, some have diarrhea. Candida can cause all of that, which it's why you should start treating it ASAP.

Just google "candida" for more info.

Only wash your face with warm water, except for the area around your mouth due to foodstuff getting on it. If your face gets smeared with something that requires cleanse properly, then obviously you should use it.

Wash your face second to last. I prefer to wash my hair last with cold water. Just scrub it with your hands for about 30 seconds to a minute.

Part of what lead me to doing this is that my eyes would get really irritated and dry after showering.

My skin gets a lot less oily than it used to when I used to use soap, so don't worry about that. I only wash it when I shower and maybe before bed and it isn't a problem. Hell, I can go to sleep without having washed my face since shower time and wake up fine.

Problem: Dry/Dead skin on face.

Solution: Lather Jojoba oil on face after showers and during the day depending on how much you need, Rinse with cold water.

That sounds scary. I forgot about this thread because this Aveeno stuff worked pretty good. The foam I used. Plus it got warmer and my skin is less dry and I think sunlight helps a lot. I may look into this though.

That stuff really is great. I use the foam on my face every other day. I found out soap was irritating it a lot. And the aveeno stuff (mostly the body scrub does a little but not nearly as much as regular soap).

I only wash below my waist with soap every day. I use the aveeno body gel for everything else every other day along with the foam for my face. On the other days I just scrub really good to get any dead skin off and dry off really good. That and sunlight has cleared it up a lot. But if I don't get sunlight I seem to have the same problem on my back.

Wolf I'm back on a no/low carb diet. I just started today. I read if that stuff doesn't get carbs it starves. And I have felt better when I did this before.
