Had to purge Civ5 a while back. Started calling in sick to work, doing 30 hour marathon sessions, etc.

it's civ man the point of the game is to take as much land and get as many points and win the game, you had one city and no army. I wanted the land due to not having much gold and resources available. Why wouldn't I take advantage of that opportunity, it's just a game and you never ever ever said, no one ever said, that it had to be peace only. chill out bor

why would I wait until we were 2+ hours into game then invade you and you be even more upset then?

Because even if you just went at war, you were a spineless shit and went all "Oh, I'm waiting for embark" or " I accidentally declared war" and shit.

I could have easily taken out your ill formed 100% mounted army with 2 or 3 pikemen if I was so inclined. However, I didn't, so you can keep your victory, but just know that it only happened since I was making the assumption that you weren't playing specifically to be a dick, which turned out to be wrong and you turned out to be completely spineless.

And the result of your actions was everyone getting fed up of your dickery and leaving, so there wasn't much of a game left to win

In conclusion, yes it's partially just me raging because I lost, but mostly me being annoyed because it was unwarranted and classless.
