Do I have a high natural tolerance to benzos?

I'm not a heavy drinker, I drink maybe once a month these days, and the max I've ever drank was once per week.

I've taken Xanax 6 times over the past 4 years, either when I was anxious or just wanted to sleep. Dosages were 1mg, 2mg, 2mg, 4mg, 6mg, 2mg.

1mg - Just wanted to try it, not anxious. Just made me slightly tired.

2mg - Wanted to try it, not anxious. Made me feel a bit more tired but nothing else.

2mg - Was anxious about something, made the anxiety go away mostly and made me tired and bored again like above.

4mg - Wanted to see if doubling it did anything else. Felt VERY tired and bored, fell asleep 20 minutes after it kicked in, woke up in the same spot remembering those 20 minutes perfectly.

6mg - Wanted to sleep and seeing as two bars didn't do anything good for me, I'd try three bars. Swallowed it, felt, again, very tired and bored. Again, fell asleep within a half hour of it kicking in, again waking up in the same spot and remembering that half hour perfectly.

2mg - Panic attack, it calmed me down and made me very slightly tired.

Never got any kind of euphoric or even pleasurable effect from this besides anxiety relief. I've heard people say 0.5mg is too much for a non-tolerant person. All of these times were on an empty stomach and I weigh around 150 lbs, so it's not weight.

It's a good and bad thing. Bad because benzos are incredibly cheap and easy to get compared to anything else around here, good because of the inevitable 20 bar per day habit i'd end up getting.

Disclaimer: If you decide to try these doses with no tolerance, don't be surprised when you wake up not remembering shit after taking the pills like most people who use this much with no tolerance do.

benzos don't produce great highs but they reduce your "giving a fuck" mechanism so you go around and do cool shit you wouldn't normally do like fucking fat chicks. Try drinking like one or two beers with 1 or 2 mg next time it might be funner.

In my good friends opinion, xanax is hard to guage becuase he dosen't experience any euphoria-- at least none that he can remember, by the time he's kicking up his dose to an appreciable level.

I've heard similar accounts from other people. Depsite the hype, I'm under the impression it's one of the less recreational benzos.

No real hangover either even from 6mg. Woke up feeling a little groggy but I always feel like that when I wake up, wasn't worse than usual.

Sounds like the kind of effect I get from lorazepam... Xanax is probably my favourite. Never makes me tired.

doubt you have a high natural tolerance to benzos but will quickly get one, i remember a few years back when 1 10mg diazepam + a few beers would have me doing all sorts ?(fighting doormen, shagging birds that had fallen out of the ugly tree hitting every branch on way down) now can do 4 x 10 mg followed by half/full bottle smirnoff blue label and still be on my feet. even drove like it once TUTTUT.
