Shoplifting from DIY store with no LP/cameras.

Any good idea for a short eBook i am writing? There are no LP or security cameras, and little staff wondering around the shop. Also, lots of high value power tools not locked away, so i would need a method where my main char. could remove big items from the shop.

The cash register is near the exit, so i can't do that. I might try a plastic bag from another store, but how would i make it not look suspicious?

Ideally, there's other stores on the same plaza, from whence you get a shopping bag. Have something like a shoe box in there, so it looks like you bought shoes. Box should enter the store empty and leave the store filled. Any questions?

Simply amazing idea, a shoe box is the perfect size for small high prices powertools!
